This is one of the court quests that will allow you to make Xanthe even angrier, bringing you closer to drawing her out of hiding and fighting her. It is one of three quests in the Blood Guard Recruiters group. To begin this quest, approach the recruiter outpost located near the Tantari settlement.

Xanthe's Blood Guards are looking for fresh recruits. They offer people a taste of undiluted vrakhiri blood, hoping to get them hooked. I should put an end to this.
Without her recruiters, Xanthe won't have any easy time making new Blood Guards.
There's a visibly distressed woman right next to the Blood Guard camp... I wonder why she's so upset.
Start by talking to the woman you will meet near the recruiters' tent.
You will learn that her son has become one of the recruiters. She will ask you for help in convincing him to quit. Refusing will only make the woman angry, but you will still be able to persuade Yanos to do what his mother wants.
The woman I spoke with is mother to Yanos, one of the Blood Guards. She begged me to convince him to desert.
Yanos is one of the recruiters. To persuade him, talk to him and select the "Go back home, now - and you get to live" option.
Next, you will have further dialog options to choose from.
Finally, you must kill all the soldiers. If you convinced Yosel to return home, there will be one less of them.
Once the soldiers are dead, you will talk to the woman once again. If you spared Yanos, she will thank you and offer a reward - Family Ring, which you can accept or refuse. If Yanos died, she will obviously be furious with you.
Xanthe would hate to see her precious blood go to waste... Which will make destroying the reliquary all the more satisfying.
Approach the container of blood and decide what to do with it.
I killed Xanthe's recruiters and destroyed the reliquary they were carrying. The old hag is likely to notice.
