Chapter: Chapter 5: Severance
Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission The Black Tower.
This is the first mission of the fifth chapter of the game. It begins shortly after you get on the motorcycle at the end of "The Black Tower" mission and head to the fog-covered area.
This mission is set outside the main map of the game but you are still able to return to the main map by using the fast travel option.
KK guides Akito toward a garage. Inside they find a dismantled motorcycle that once belonged to Rinko. Akito makes his way around town to locate the materials needed to get the bike up and running.
Once it's back in working order, the pair set their sights once more on Tokyo Tower, where Hannya awaits.
When you regain control of your character, move toward Tokyo Tower. Go through the torii gate and enter the shrine area.
Next to the first of the buildings in the sanctuary area you should find one of the voice logs. It's a laptop lying on the ground - File #999. You can also turn to a side alley, there you will find a note lying on the ground - Jizo, Friend to All.
Walking further you will meet Rinko and be able to talk to her. After the conversation you will be able to read another note that will be lying on the ground - Message Draft.
Continuing towards Tokyo Tower you will eventually come across Okina and after a while the fight with her will begin.
In order to defeat Okina, you need to take out her two cores, which are located in her mouth and on her abdomen. Both are clearly visible from the very beginning, so you should have no problem locating them. Of course, this will only be possible after you have inflicted quite a bit of damage on her.
Watch out for boulders falling from the sky and avoid Okina's attacks, which she will inflict using her long limbs. From time to time she may also shoot at you from her tail or leave a cloud of purple gas on the ground which you should not enter. A fairly common attack will be the yellow shockwaves (single or double) she generates. The single ones can be avoided by jumping above them.To reduce the damage inflicted by them you can also use blocks.
When you extract one of Okina's cores, her attacks will become more intense. The fight will end as soon as you pull out the second of the cores.
After defeating Okina, keep walking until you reach the tower.
When you try to go inside it, the game will warn you that once you do, there will be no turning back until you complete the game's main storyline. When you decide to go inside then this mission will end and another mission - "Tokyo Tower" - will begin.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the mission Tokyo Tower.
