A Gathering Storm Ghost of Tsushima Tale

Group: Act 3 - Kill the Khan

Location: Kamiagata

This tale will be unlocked after you complete the "Wolves at the Gates" main tale.

Yuna, Ishikawa, Masako, Norio... Everyone is gathered at Jogaku Temple. Even Kenji. I can't let them down.

I should check on Yuna. We need to plan our attack against the Khan's stronghold in Port Izumi.

To begin A Gathering Storm you must first complete Wolves at the Gates.

Quest stages of A Gathering Storm

1. Meet Juna at Jogaku Temple

Travel to Jogaku Temple and speak with Yuna who's waiting for you by the pagoda near the frozen lake. You will decide to go together to scout the port where Khan's troops are stationed.

The Khan's army masses at his stronghold in Port Izumi. Scouting their defenses won't be easy, but I'll have the best thief on Tsushima to help. Yuna and I will figure something out.

2. Do not raise the alarm

The night will come and you will automatically transfer to the hill south of the port. From now on until the end of this mission you cannot let Khan's warriors notice you and raise the alarm.

2.1. Move closer to the lighthouse

Run down the hill until you reach the vicinity of the lighthouse. On the way you will not meet any enemies.

When you reach the vicinity of the lighthouse you will notice that it is impossible to get to the lighthouse from the front side, so you decide to go around, climbing the cliff.

2.2. Sneak to the lighthouse

Use the path on the right side of the hill. Wait for the warrior closer to you to turn his back on you, sneak up to him and assassinate him. Then assassinate his companion standing on the cliff and watching the sea.

Climb the rocks and you will see another guard standing on top of the hill. You can leave him alone but you can also assassinate him if you want.

But you have to get rid of the guard standing on the ledge below. You can sneak up to him or jump on him from a nearby rock.

Then get rid of the guard walking near the tent. Jumping on him from the rope seems to be an ideal solution.

Then go to the back of the tent and wait in the grass until the archer patrolling this area turns his back on you. Assassinate him. A warrior with a shield looking towards the sea can be spared.

Go further towards the lighthouse and wait in the grass until two warriors leave the campfire below the lighthouse and there will be only one left. Then sneak up to him and assassinate him.

Now you can approach the lighthouse from behind and enter it through the gap in the back door.

2.3. Investigate the barrels

Once you enter the lighthouse investigate the barrels on the ground floor. The barrels are full of flowers from which Khan intends to prepare the poison he wants to use to attack the mainland.

2.4. Reach the top of the lighthouse

Climb the ladders to the top of the lighthouse. When you do this you will notice that the waves are flat what suggests that a storm is coming.

2.5. Survey Port Izumi

Approach the edge of the roof and look at all five points in the port.

When you do this, you and Yuna will establish a preliminary plan of attack and then you will automatically return to Jogaku Temple.

After completing A Gathering Storm you will get or will be able to get Heart of the Jito.
