The records are inside the stilt house. It is much easier to get inside before you liberate the village because you can climb the ladder.
Once the village is liberated, there will be no ladder. Then you have to use your grappling hook and climb from the side of the house to its roof.
Then come up to the front of the roof and slide down. Jin will automatically use the rope.
And then you can jump into the door.
