The following legend of Realm of Shadow interactive game map defines the points of interest / markers displayed on the map. Each marker corresponds to a specific element to facilitate efficient navigation and interaction with the map.
Map Fragments are needed to uncover new regions on your map of the open game world available in the Elden Ring.
Map: Abyss
This map is located on the base of a stone stele, near the ruins of the church. To reach this place you must first get to the area southeast of the Shadow Keep. To do this, you should use Shadow Keep Ladder #1 and Shadow Keep Ladder #2, after which you will reach the Coffin that will take you to the "Castle Watering Hole" site of grace. Then head south and reach the "Darklight Catacombs" dungeon. After passing it, you'll emerge close to the "Forsaken Graveyard" site of grace from where you'll straightforwardly reach this map fragment.
Map: Gravesite Plain
This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. You will be able to pick up this map shortly after you arrive in Realm of Shadow.
Map: Rauh Ruins
This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. The map is located on the bottom / ground level of the region (Rauh Base) and you can reach it by going through the Cave Passage, the entrance to which is located in Scadu Altus. Going through this cave you will first reach the poison swamp and then the Ancient Ruins Base site of grace. Walking further west you will reach the place where this map is.
Map: Scadu Altus
This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. In order to reach this map fragment, you need to go through Castle Ensis and defeat Rellana, Twin Moon Knight. After that you will be able to open the back door of the castle and exit to Scadu Altus.
Map: Southern Shore
This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. One way to get to this part of the map is to go through Ellac River Cave. To reach the entrance to this cave you should start near the southern walls of Castle Ensis and make your way down the rocks to the cave entrance. You should eventually reach the Cerulean Coast site of grace. You can also take a slightly circuitous route through the "Dragon's Pit Terminus" site of grace and then "Grand Altar of Dragon Communion" site of grace.
Consume Revered Spirit Ash at site of grace to bolster your Revered Spirit Ash Blessing. The Revered Spirit Ash Blessing bolsters both summoned spirits' and spectral steed's abilities to deal and negate damage but has no influence outside the realm of shadow.

Sorceries are a type of magic in Elden Ring. Sorcery spells are often dependent on the intelligence and they are cast using a staff or similar catalyst.
Incantations are a type of magic in Elden Ring. Incantation spells are often dependent on the faith, and are cast using a sacred seal or similar catalyst.
Cookbooks in Elden Ring are items that provide knowledge on how to make certain items, such as ammunition or consumables.
Talismans in Elden Ring are accessories which can be equipped to acquire a variety of offensive, defensive, or utility effects. You can increase the number of talisman equip slots by obtaining talisman pouches.
Ashes of War in Elden Ring are special items which allow you to change the skills and affinities of your equipment (Weapons & Shields).
Merchants are various NPCs that you may meet during your journey through the game world of Elden Ring. You will be able to buy certain items from them and also sell them goods and resources that you no longer need. The currency you will use for trading are runes.
Gestures in Elden Ring are basically emotes. They are a useful tool to express yourself to other players. Up to six of them can be bound to a shortcut menu. Certain gestures must be used in certain places to unlock secret passages, etc.

Larval Tears that can be found in the Realm of Shadow can only be found during the night. To locate them look for spectral graveyards that appear at night and are very easy to spot when it gets dark.
Remembrances in the Elden Ring are consumable items that drop out of defeated legendary foes and that provide various powers, such as weapons, sorceries or incantations. Remembrance can either be traded for a substantial amount of runes or handed to Finger Reader Enia in Roundtable Hold to unlock its power.
Remembrance of a God and a Lord
Dropped by Promised Consort Radahn. Powers: Greatsword of Radahn (Lord) (Type: Colossal Sword, Skill: Promised Consort), Greatsword of Radahn (Light) (Type: Colossal Sword, Skill: Lightspeed Slash), Light of Miquella (Incantation. Fai: 72. Item Effect: Annihilates foes with a pillar of light.)
Remembrance of Putrescence
Dropped by the Putrescent Knight. Powers: Putrescence Cleaver (Type: Greataxe, Skill: Spinning Guillotine), Vortex of Putrescence (Sorcery. Int: 32, Fai: 25. Item Effect: Launches a whirl of putrescent jets.)

Drops from Divine Beast Dancing Lion. Powers: Enraged Divine Beast (Item Effect: Raises potency of storms), Ash of War: Divine Beast Frost Stomp (Usable on all melee armaments.)

Sites of Grace are save / respawn points in Elden Ring. They also serve as fast travel points. In order to use a site of grace, you must first reach it and activate it.
Jump while on horseback near a spiritspring to ride its current high into the air. You won't take damage from jumping into a spiritspring while on horseback, even from a great height.

How to reach Scadu Altus?
In order to reach Scadu Altus region, you need to go through Castle Ensis. After defeating the final boss in this castle - Rellana, Twin Moon Knight - you will be able to open the back door of the castle and exit to Scadu Altus.
