Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Taken.
This quest will begin immediately after completing the "Taken" quest. Estrid will inform you that you should talk to her ex-husband. She will tell you where you should go to do this.
Secure your alliance with Birstan.
Hunters' Meet

Head to the Hunters' Meet camp. Birstan is getting ready to hunt and will invite you to go with him.
Follow Birstan and then hunt five boars.
Talk to Birstan, he will thank you for what you did for him and return to his residence.
Return to Birstan's residence. There you will learn the truth about who Eluric really is. What he hears will not please the young man.
To make matters worse, a messenger will inform you that Aelfred's soldiers have discovered Estrid's whereabouts and have set out to rescue her.
Return to the village and inform Rollo about the approaching soldiers of King Aelfred. After a moment you will be fired upon by enemy archers. What happens now will depend on whether you correctly identified the traitor in the "Old Wounds" quest. If you correctly pointed out that the traitor is Gerhild, then Lork will cover Estrid, so she won't get hurt. If you were wrong and pointed at Lork as a traitor, then Estrid will be shot and seriously injured.
Eliminate successive waves of enemies until the entire progress bar fills up.
To complete this quest, talk to Estrid again and say goodbye to her and Rollo.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Reporting on Essexe.
