Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest An Uncommon Proposition.
This is one of two quests you will receive after talking to Birstan and Estrid at the end of "An Uncommon Proposition" quest.
Find Alfida and bring her to Birstan.

Go to Maeldun. Near the house where Alfida should be staying you will come across a few soldiers that you should get rid of first.
You can check out some of the clues you'll find in and around the house, but all you have to do is walk into a small storage shed nearby and you'll meet Alfida's brother - Eluric, hiding there.
He will tell you that his sister has been captured and imprisoned in an outpost far to the west.
Go to Brentwood Outpost located in the western part of the region. The outpost is fairly large and well guarded and Alfida is being held in a small house in the central part of it. This house is relatively easy to get to using the ropes stretched between the buildings, but unfortunately you will need a key to get inside.
The key is in the possession of one of the elite soldiers in the camp. If you want to be discreet, then walk across the ropes to the tower and then assassinate this soldier and loot the central house key.
Then go back to the house where Alfida is, unlock the door and go inside. Aflida will not be able to walk because she has twisted her ankle so you must pick her up and carry her out of the camp.
Then you have to leave the camp carrying the woman. This may be a little "cheating", but if you walk with the woman to the edge of the canal next to the house and press the attack button while still trying to move forward (DON'T use the "place" button!), you will drop Alfida and she will probably fall into the water in the canal.
When this happens, she will swim up the canal to get out of the water. There you will be able to pick her up again. And when you go further north you will leave the camp through the hole in the palisade.
Carry Alfida up the stream until you reach Lake House. Enter the hut and lay Alfida down to rest.
When the woman gets some rest you will tell her who sent you and why. She will try to make a new life with Birstan and this quest will end.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Taken.
