Quest Group: Ledecestrescire / The Kingmaker's Saga
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Bartering.
This is one of the two quests you will receive after you get information about where King Burgred may be staying.
Ledecestre, a Saxon farming village built on the ruins of a Roman city, has been pegged as one of the King's potential hiding spots. Eivor sets out to meet Ivarr, who's gone to get the lay of the land.

Ivarr will be waiting for you on top of the tower near the harbor. Climb up over there.
Ivarr sent a scout to the town but Eivor will not want to wait for his return and will decide to explore the town on his own.
You will be able to search two places, a church and an old bathhouse.
Note: you can skip this and go straight to bathhouse.
You can enter the church by one of the doors, or you can break one of the windows and get inside this way.
The door leading to the basement is barred so you have to destroy the wooden wall above this door and go inside this way.
In the basement you will find the document you are looking for.
You can get to the bathhouse in several ways, for example through the hole shown in the picture below.
Inside you must find the soldier who has the key.
With this key you will be able to open the door on the middle floor of the bathhouse.
There you will find Ceolbert, who tried to find the king on his own. Talk to him. He will give you the information he managed to find about where the king's wife is. Your conversation will be interrupted by the attack of Ivarr's men on the bathhouse.
Follow the boy to the marketplace.
Help the Ivarr's men to kill all soldiers.
To complete this quest, talk to Ceolbert and Ivarr about what happened and what you have learned.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Tilting the Balance.
