Quest Group: Ledecestrescire / The Kingmaker's Saga
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Tilting the Balance.
This quest begins when the captured Burgred is delivered to the Tamworth Fortress, that is, when the "Tilting the Balance" quest is completed. Ivarr wants to spend some time with you.
With Burgred captured and Ceolwulf warming the seat of the throne, the time has come to crown Mercia's new ruler.

Go with Ivarr. You will sit down at the table and talk about his plans for the future while drinking. You will wake up the next morning with a light hangover.
Go to a longhouse where you will witness the abdication and handing over of the crown.
When the ceremony is over, a messenger will run into the building and inform you that the soldiers led by Leofrith are heading for Repton. Ceolwulf will ask you to go there and save his son.
You can use the fast travel option or get there in another way. When you reach the settlement you will hear from Ubba that you should check the Isle of Waifs.
Go to the place indicated by Ubba. When you get there you will meet there Leofrith who is going to kill Ceolbert. You challenge him to a duel and he will accept your challenge.
Leofrith uses a long sword. Dodge or parry his blows and counter-attack and you shouldn't have any major problems with him.
When you defeat him you will be able to decide on his fate.
You will get two options:
Return with Ceolbert to Repton where Sigurd and the brothers will be waiting for you. The King thanks you for saving his son and helping to take over the throne. Sigurd will tell you where he is going to travel now and this quest will end.

After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quests Hunted, Reporting on Ledecestrescire.
