Then go all the way down the tower and proceed to the main part of the church.

Mentor's TrousersPants. Raven-aligned gear. The chest is located inside a barred room in one of the buildings in the garrison. To enter it, you must first shoot the lock through a small window. You visit this building during "The Reeve of Wincestre" quest.

Mentor's VambraceBracers. Raven-aligned gear. To reach the chest you must pass through the underground. It's best to kill the enemy guarding the entrance, take his key and enter normally through the door. Alternatively, you can go down via the shaft.
Take the jar that you will be able to use in a moment and go down the corridor straight ahead.
Put down the jar for a moment and use your weapon to destroy the reed barrier behind which the passage is hidden.
Use the jar to destroy the stone wall.
Keep walking through the corridors and after a while you will reach a wooden wall. Destroy it and enter the room where the chest is.
