In order to get this quest you need to complete Pay the Ferryman quest and then find and talk to Brasidas / Eternal Battlefield.
Charon pointed Alexios to the Mourning Fields to help a lost soul find peace. What he discovered instead was a warrior trapped in eternal combat - both in the underworld and in his own mind.

You must kill enough Greek soldiers.
Brasidas won't recognize you and attack you. You must defeat him in a battle.
Brasidas doesn't remember who you are, but by recalling any moment in the past, he will recognize you.
