Unable to cross the Veil of Tartaros without the Armor of the Fallen, Elpenor asked Alexios to meet him at Kronos’s Treasury, where they hoped to retrieve the gauntlets.

After a while, you'll reach a blocked passageway. You will have to get to it from the other side and unblock it.
In order to do this, you need to get to the other side of the lava room.
Then reach the blocked passage from the other side. Destroy the vases and move the bookcase so that Elpenor can get inside.
Both of you go to the vault.
After a while, Elpenor will find and give you the gauntlets you came here for. You can thank him or not.
