The orbiting moon of Koboh hangs in the space above the planet like a warning. Grievously damaged in some past disaster, huge chunks of crust and mantle spew from the moon's wounded surface, trailing across nearby space. It is understood that pieces of this catastrophe once fell below to Koboh, resulting in much of the damage strewn across its surface. In the time before, however, a vast facility was erected on the satellite moon by the Republic, who used it for research and development as they intensified their studies into the Koboh system and its anomalous properties.
