Quest Group: Chapter 4 - Saint Denis
Category: Story Mission
Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission The Battle of Shady Belle.
You will be able to start this mission once you have completed The Battle of Shady Belle mission. Three different places will be marked on the map. The easiest way to start this mission is to go to the westernmost place, which is the Bastille Saloon.
When you try to get inside, someone will put a gun to your head. Luckily, it will be just a stupid joke played by Dutch and after a short conversation you will enter the bar.
Having just arrived in Saint Denis, Dutch and Arthur ask around the Bastille Saloon for information on Angelo Bronte.
If you visit one of the other places and ask the people there about Angelo Bronte, they will direct you to the Bastille Saloon.
When you enter the saloon, come to the bar, call the bartender twice and order whiskey. It will cost you a dollar for a drink and another dollar as a tip. You ask him about Angelo Bronte but he won't tell you anything valuable.
When you leave the bar, a drunken customer will come up to you and tell you that the kids you can find in the alley behind the bar should know something about Bronte.
If you want to save a few seconds, don't stop to listen to what he has to say, just get out of the bar and go to the alley behind the bar. He will follow you and say what he has to say.
Go to the alley behind the bar and approach the kids you can find there.
They want five dollars for pointing the way to Bronte.
Follow the boy who will tell you about the local attractions along the way.
When you stop by the church, another boy will sneak up on you, steal your sack, and start running away with it.
Run after the cart the kid jumped on. When it gets to the main road, the kid jumps off the cart and gets on the passing tram.
When you reach the main road, turn right, just like the tram goes. Just around the corner there is a horse that you can "borrow". Get on it and follow the tram.
After some time the boy will jump off the tram and run through an archway to the side alley.
Follow him to the alley, then turn left and run next to the three men.
You should notice a boy again who will come out of hiding and start running away again.
The boy will run out onto the street and then into another alley across the street.
At the end of the alley the boy will turn right but you shouldn't run after him. Just jump over the wall on the left.
Then jump over another wall and run out onto the street.
On the street turn left and run to the place where the red building ends and the wall begins. This is where the boy will try to jump from the roof to the street.
Arthur will catch the boy, take his things back from him, get information about Bronte and let the boy go. You'll also score one of the gold medal requirements, to catch a boy before he gets to the market.
If you wasn't able catch up with the boy before he got to the market, you'll have to find him there. You can ask the people there if they haven't seen him and they will tell you the more exact location where you should look. When you get close to him, he will start running away again. Follow him, jump over the wooden fence and soon you will enter an alley where you will be surrounded by a gang of kids. Eventually, they'll hand over your stolen things to you and their leader will tell you where you can find Angelo Bronte.
Go back to Dutch. He will be waiting for you sitting on a bench across the street from Bastille Saloon.
Arthur will tell him what he has learned and the mission will end.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the missions Angelo Bronte, A Man of Honor, No, No and Thrice, No.
