Quest Group: Chapter 6 - Beaver Hollow
Category: Side Mission
After completing That's Murfree Country mission, you will receive another task to recover the debt from two more people. To receive it, talk to Leopold Strauss, who is sitting on a tree trunk near the camp.
Strauss gives Arthur the names of two more debtors.
J. John Weathers is a deserter from the Army and he is located to the west of the camp.
Go to the location marked on the map and find the broken wagon standing by the road.
J. John Weathers is lying under the wagon and fixing a broken wheel. Come to the wagon and tell him what brings you to him.
Of course, he doesn't have any money and additionally he asks you for help. When you talk, a few soldiers arrive and start shooting at you.
Kill all the attacking soldiers.
When you kill all the soldiers, go back to Weathers. The wagon and all its possessions went on fire.
In addition, from the nearby bushes will come his pregnant wife who was hiding there.
Weathers will offer you a silver locket to pay the debt, and you can either take it or absolve the debt. If you absolve the debt then your honor will increase.
To find the second debtor you have to go to Annesburg.
Go to the mine there.
A guard at the entrance to the mine will tell you that you should talk to the foreman.
You'll find a foreman in one of the mine corridors. He will inform you that Londonderry is dead.
He will also tell you where you can find Londonderry's wife.
Go to the house where the widow lives. She has no money and is troubled by other creditors.
Arthur decides to withdraw from debt recovery. It is up to you to choose whether to just leave or to help the woman by giving her some money.
Arthur has visited both of Strauss's debtors, J. John Weathers and Arthur Londonderry.
The last thing you have to do is just go back to the camp and confront Strauss. Feeling guilty of the tragedies caused by Strauss' actions, Arthur tells him to leave the camp and find a normal job.
After seeing the senselessness of Strauss's loaning, Arthur throws him out of the camp.
