In Hollow Knight: Silksong, Void Masses are immobile, dense knots of husks bound tight by void soaked Silk, that can be found in Act 3. Void Mass corrupts nearby enemies, strengthening them, and attacks with void tentacles and projectiles. Destroying a Void Mass removes corruption from the area, and it does not respawn. Void Masses play a key role in the Dark Hearts wish, which requires destroying twelve of them to receive the reward, a Mask Shard.
