Rosaries are the primary currency in Hollow Knight: Silksong, used throughout the kingdom of Pharloom to purchase items from merchants, pay tolls to unlock benches, fast travel stations, as well as for various other interactions.
Loose rosaries are lost upon death, requiring recovery from your corpse. However, you can convert loose rosaries into "strung" items like Rosary Strings to store them safely in your inventory. You can hold up to 20 of each type.
