All Nornir Chest Locations - God of War Ragnarök

It's inside the "Raider Hideout" cave. You must light three braziers to unlock this chest. The first one is located behind the red vines to the left of the chest. You must use sigil arrows and burn the vines and then use sigil arrows again to ignite the brazier. You can also use a grenade you find in the cave to ignite this brazier.

Throw a grenade at the ore to blow it up, then throw another grenade to light the brazier. Pick up and throw a grenade at the ore to blow it up, then throw another grenade to light the brazier.

The third brazier is in a depression near the entrance to the cave. However, it is high enough that you won't be able to throw a grenade at it, so you need to create a path for the fire. To do this, you must use sigil arrows.

To unlock this chest you must ignite three braziers. To get to all of them you must follow the same steps that are needed to reach the Midgard Legendary Chest (The Lost Treasury).

You will reach the first brazier from the ground when you move the shield to the left.

The second brazier is on the top left. You will light it with Blades of Chaos when you get close enough to the wall.

The last brazier is in the same cave as the legendary chest. In this case you must use sigil arrows.

To unlock this chest you should throw your axe at three bells within a short interval. For this to be possible you must first remove the obstacle blocking access to one of them.

To gain access to the third of the bells you must get to the part of the room located on the other side of the cleft. How to do this is explained in the description of the legendary chest - Midgard Legendary Chest (The Oarsmen), that is located there. When you get there then use a sonic arrow to destroy the obstacle and open the gate to the first part of the cave.

The longest period to reset has the bell located in the crack on the left side so you should hit it first. Try to keep the need to relocate to a minimum. I positioned myself in a place from where I could see all three bells. The third one was accessible through the gate and not through the opening created when the obstacle was destroyed, but probably both solutions are good.

Then swiftly make throws in the direction of the other two bells, which reset rather quickly.

To unlock this chest you must light three braziers. They are all located on the surrounding rocks and all you have to do is to get close enough and use the Blades of Chaos.

Contains: Horn of Blood Mead. You have to strike three bells in a short period of time. One of the bells is located on the rocks to the right of the chest, but you should hit it last. Start with the bell located farthest away.

Throw your axe at the wooden board with white marks, this will raise the bell located behind the metal bars. Quickly retrieve the axe and throw it at the bell before it drops down.

As the second one, hit the bell hanging from the crane. In order to do this, first shoot a sonic arrow at the vulnerable part of the crane, which will make the bell drop down a bit and you will be able to aim at it. You only need to shoot an arrow once and the bell will drop down permanently. So it's best to do this before you start throwing your axe at the bells.

Finish by throwing at the bell located next to the chest. If you don't do it fast enough then you will have to repeat the whole process.

Contains: Idunn Apple. To open the chest you must destroy three statues. The first one is located on the right side of the chest. The second is on the island behind the chest and you can throw an axe at it.

The third statue is near the tree on the rocks, not far from the "Things Left Behind 1/6 - Hreidmar's Brassard" artifact.

Contains: Horn of Blood Mead. Find three spinners and turn them to match the symbols, by throwing the axe at the paddles.

Throw your axe at the spinners until one of the symbols on the chest appears on them. The first spinner is hidden behind the geyser making it less visible.

The other is located on the other side of the rock.

To get to the third one you have to climb up a bit.

Contains: Idunn Apple. To open this chest you must destroy three statues by throwing your axe at them.

The first statue is behind the geyser on the rocks behind the chest. Throw your axe through the water. To see exactly where the statue is located you can freeze the geyser for a while.

The second statue is located behind the geyser near the lake. Proceed with it similarly to the first statue.

The last statue is also behind the geyser, but in addition, a grate blocks access to it from the front. So go around the rock and throw your axe at it from behind.

Contains: Horn of Blood Mead. To open this chest you must light three fires. The first one is located right next to the chest.

Go down the left side, where you can see the red chest and use the hook to jump over the gap. Light the fire located on the other side.

Return to the area near the red chest, throw the axe at the water to freeze it, and light the fire of the rune located below the water wheel.

You visit this place during the main mission "Forging Destiny". To unlock this chest you must ignite three braziers.

To light one of the braziers, throw your axe at the barrel on the right. You will smash it and a flammable substance will pour out of it, which you can set on fire by using the Blades of Chaos and aiming at the barrel on the left.

One of the runes is behind the crates, just use your weapon to destroy them.

Contains: Idunn Apple. Ignite the torches above the three runes to unlock this chest. The first rune is located to the left of the chest and you should use the Blades of Chaos.

The second rune is located slightly to the south. You have to climb up to the platform and order your companion to shoot the red jar standing next to it which will cause an explosion.

To get to the last rune you must first use a sonic arrow and destroy the barrels blocking the passage.

Then you should use the Blades of Chaos.

In order to be able to climb to the place where this chest is, you must have the Draupnir Spear. This chest is located not far from the "Demise of Dagestr" treasure map. To unlock this chest you have to embed spears in each of the 3 runes then detonate them all at the same time.

One of the runes stands at the base of the stalagmite and two more are on platforms hanging from the ceiling.

This chest is located close to The Applecore mystic waygate. To unlock this chest you have to embed spears in each of the 3 runes then detonate them all at the same time.

The first of the runes is located near the waygate.

To get access to the second rune you must shoot at the red jar and thus remove the ore that obscures the rune.

The last rune is located behind the waterfall. When you use your axe and freeze the waterfall it will be clearly visible.

To unlock this chest you need the Draupnir Spear which you will acquire later in the game, in the mission "Forging Destiny". Embed spears in each of the 3 runes then detonate at once.

You should notice the first two runes while standing near the chest.

The third rune is a little further away, near the wooden footbridge and the railroad.

Contains: Horn of Blood Mead. You will come across this chest after crossing the light bridge. You have to strike three bells in a short period of time. Two of the bells are located on the left side of the chest.

The third bell is located in the corridor to the right of the chest. First you must use a sonic arrow to unblock it.

Then you'll be able to throw your axe at the twilight stone located next to it from a distance. The bounced axe will hit the bell.

To open this chest you must light three fires. But first, in order for you to approach the chest, you must destroy the three joints by throwing an axe at them.

You should use the blades of chaos to ignite the first two fires.

To ignite the third fire, which is located on the roof, you must throw an axe at the red jar next to it.

Underground, in "The Below" area. This chest stands near a wooden gate, which can only be opened from one side. To get to the contents of this chest you must ring three bells.

Two bells are located on the same level as the chest and are easily accessible, just open the gate by approaching it from the chest side.

The third bell is located in a room a level up. The door to this room can be opened from the inside. To get there you need to cut three red connections. You can do it as shown in the picture below.

You will then be able to climb up the rocks and enter this room from the above. Open the door, ring the bell, jump down to the level below where the chest is and hit the other two bells.

To open this chest you must ignite three fires. One of them is located not far from the chest. Two more you will find further into the desert.

They are out of range of the blades of chaos, so you need to help yourself with the proper placement of signs created with sigil arrows.

This chest is in the cave below the temple. The Cave Entrance is at the base of the platform on which the door to the temple is located. To open this chest you must remove the obstacles blocking access to it and ignite the three fires.

To remove obstacles blocking access to the chest, throw your axe at the twilight stone located next to it.

You will need to use sigil arrows to ignite the braziers. You can ignite the brazier on the left from the campfire located right next to it.

Two more braziers are located on the right side. You will ignite one of them from another campfire, this time located at a distance. Again, use sigil arrows to create a sufficient path for the fire.

The last of the braziers is above the second one, plus it is hidden behind a curtain. Also in this case you will have to use sigil arrows and create a path for fire, this time the fire source will be the second of the braziers you just lit. In addition, at some point you will have to switch to sonic arrows and use one to open the curtain behind which the third brazier is located. Then you can shoot the last sigil arrow.

Contains: Idunn Apple. To open this box you must light three fires. With two of them you shouldn't have the slightest, just get close enough and use the Blades of Chaos.

However, the third rune is too high to reach it from the level where the chest is. So you have to go around and jump off the ledge that is above it.

Then you'll be at the right distance and will be able to light the fire.

To unlock this chest you need the Draupnir Spear which you will acquire later in the game, in the mission "Forging Destiny". Embed spears in each of the 3 runes then detonate at once.

In order to open this chest, you need to position the three spinners so that they show one of the runes from the chest.

The first of the spinners is located to the right of the chest but is obscured by vines. So you have to use sigil arrows and blades of chaos to burn those vines and get access to the spinning wheel.

To be able to target the second spinner, which is to the left of the chest, you need to climb the platforms in the middle.

You will be able to hit the third spinner if you cross to the other side of the river.

In order to unlock this chest, you need to properly rotate three spinners. The first rune is located to the left of the chest.

The second rune is located next to the path leading to the chest. First you need to burn the vines that block the spinner.

To be able to throw the axe at the last rune move towards the enemy nearby and kill him. When you do this you should see the rune and spinner in the ruins on the hill on the other side.

To open this chest you must ignite three braziers. All three braziers are outside the standard range of the blades of chaos, so in order for the fire to reach the braziers you have to use sigil arrows and position the sigils in the right way.

Keep in mind that you can stack multiple sigil arrows on one spot to increase HEX POTENCY and REACH of elemental effects.

Brazier #1 - You will find it on the rocks to the right of the chest.

Brazier #2 - You will find it on the rocks on the opposite side.

Brazier #3 - You will find it on the rock above the waterfall.

In order to be able to open this chest, you need to light up three braziers.

The first fire is right next to the chest, just turn around and you will see it. Use the Blades of Chaos to ignite it.

To light the second of the braziers you must use the burning bucket hanging from the crane. You must position the crane so that the bucket is near the fire and use the chains to push it toward it.

You must do the same with the third brazier.

In order to unlock this chest, you need to properly set three spinners. You will find the first one near the chest.

The next one is located on the building where the celestial altar is.

The last one is on the ruins, a little further away. To be able to rotate it you must first burn the vines that overgrow it.

To do this you must use the sigil arrows.

To unlock this chest you must ring three bells. The first two of them are located not far from the chest.

In order to ring the third bell you must first clean it of the vines that overgrow it. This will be possible from the upper platform so you must first get there by taking the road around.

Once you get rid of the vines you can throw the axe at the bell while standing on the other side of the rock by which the chest stands.

To reach the chest you must first open the Gateway. To unlock this chest you must destroy three statues.

One of the statues is inside a tree trunk.

The other stands on the rocks.

To get to the third one you have to freeze the pillar with poison.

Then you will be able to approach the tree by which the chest stands from behind and destroy the statue inside the trunk of this tree.

To unlock this chest you must ignite three braziers.

The first of the braziers is located to the right of the chest.

You will find the second brazier to the left of the chest. To light it you will need to use the sigil arrows.

You will find the last brazier on the rocks above, near where the zipline begins. Also in this case you should use the sigil arrows.

To unlock this chest you must use the Draupnir Spear and at the same time detonate three statues you can find in the area. You will be able to get here only after the water in the rivers is restored, so you must first complete the favor "Return of the River".

To open this chest you need to set the right runes by throwing an axe at three spinners.

The first of the spinners stands on rocks nearby.

In order to be able to set the correct rune on the second spinner, you must first use the blades of chaos and burn the vines that entwine it.

The same goes for the third spinner, but this time it will be out of your range. Thus, you need to set fire to the vines to the left of it and after a while the fire will also reach the vines that block the spinner.

To open this chest you must ring three bells simultaneously. The chest is on one bank, the bells are on the wall on the opposite side of the river.

The key item in this task is the bomb you will find near the chest. You will use it to destroy the ore blocking access to the chest, as well as enable you to hit the bells, which are quite a distance away.

In order to hit all three bells at the same time, you must properly shoot sigil arrows and then throw a bomb.

To unlock this chest you must light three braziers. The first one is located on the rocks behind the chest and you just need to get close enough to it.

Two more are located on the opposite side. First you need to light the one on the left. To do this you must approach from the side and use sigil arrows.

You will ignite the third brazier using the fact that the second brazier is already burning. Once again, you must use sigil arrows. Start from the right side and release the last arrow towards the already burning brazier.

Contains: Chaos Flame. To unlock this chest you must complete the initial 6 trials: Trials: Weapon Mastery & Flawless / Trials: Ring Out Challenge & Feed the Rift / Trials: Population Control & King of the Hill.

You can get to the floor where the chest is located by going through one of the rooms located on the lower floor.

When you enter this room and look up then you will notice a wall that you can break down.

The first of the statues that you must destroy to unlock the chest can be found near the chest itself.

Another one you will find in one of the cells.

And the last one is located at the very bottom of the prison.
