In God of War Ragnarök, Favors are optional side quests. They often involve helping NPCs, solving environmental puzzles, or defeating powerful enemies. Completing favors can grant Hacksilver, crafting materials, gear, etc. Some favors also unlock hidden pathways. While not required to finish the main story, favors are a key way to fully upgrade Kratos and Atreus, gain powerful items, and experience the depth of each realm.

Across the RealmsTo start this favor pick up the recipe lying on the ground near the campfire. To complete this favor you need to find four ingredients: Nordic Gourd (Midgard), Prongfruit (Svartalfheim), Bantam Melon (Vanaheim) and Elven Cap (Alfheim). Reward: Meal of Comfort (Permanently increases all stats by 5).
Guiding LightThis quest will start automatically when you find the first of the runes.
Sigrun's CurseThis quest will start automatically when you and your companion reach the door which is located in the same cave where the Midgard Legendary Chest (The Lost Treasury) stands.
Sigurn's CurseThis favour is automatically started after arriving at The Derelict Outpost Entrance.
Show the mapThe Last Remnants of AsgardThis favor will start automatically after the main storyline of the game and the end credits. At that time, you should be more or less in this location.
The CrucibleThis mission will start when you find one of the Muspelpheim Seed Halves. You will find one of them in the legendary chest you will pass on your way to the Modvitnir's Rig platform.
The Lost TreasureYou will be able to get here and start this favor only after you obtain the Draupnir Spear.
The Weight of ChainsThis quest will start automatically when you reach the island which is located in the middle of the lake (Lynkbakr will at that time be submerged so the map will look slightly different then on my map).
Freyr's GiftThis quest will start automatically when you come to the proximity of the statue. Reward: Invoke the Storm (Runic Summon).
The Desert DoorThis favor will start when you find one of the two keys - "Alfheim Barrens Key Half 1/2" or "Alfheim Barrens Key Half 2/2".
A Stag for All SeasonsThis favor will begin when you find the first of the four stags.
Casaulty of War: The BroochTo complete this favor you must find "Spirit Mementos 2/5 - Brooch". Reward: Crest of Desperate Heroics (Amulet Enchantment).
Casualties of War: The HourglassTo complete this favor you must find "Spirit Mementos 4/5 - Hourglass". Reward: Attuned Runic Gem (Amulet Enchantment).
Casualties of War: The ToyTo complete this favor you must find "Spirit Mementos 3/5 - Child's Toy". Reward: Fossilised Keepsake (Amulet Enchantment).
Casualty of War: The SteinTo complete this favor you must find "Spirit Mementos 5/5 - Stein". Reward: Kinetic Resilience (Amulet Enchantment).
Cure for the DeadIn the Dead of NightYou will be able to get here only after the water in the rivers is restored, so you must first complete the favor "Return of the River".
Trail of the DeadWhen you arrive here after completing the favor "Return of the River".
Hel to PayThis favor will start automatically after you close the Hel Tear located here, which will happen during the main mission "Reunion". Your task will be to find and close a total of 6 Hel Tears, two of which you have already closed, so you will be left with four more: Alfheim Hel Tear (The Strönd), Midgard Hel Tear (Well of Urd), Vanaheim Hel Tear (The Southern Wilds), and Svartalfheim Hel Tear (Aurvangar Wetlands).
The Broken PrisonThis favor will be available only after completing the main storyline of the game. At that point, the Aesir Prison Wreckage will pop up in Niflheim and you will be able to get to them. Your task will be to reach the prisoner held in the cell on the lowest level of the prison.
The Eyes of OdinHere you will find chests (6 of them) from which you can collect rewards after killing a certain number of ravens (6/12/18/28/38/48).
The Lost LindwyrmsThis is a mid-game side quest given by Ratatoskr. It becomes available after the main story mission "The Word of Fate".
