Quest Group: Act 1 - Rescue Lord Shimura
Location: Izuhara
This quest will be unlocked after completing the prologue. Yuna needs your help in finding her brother named Taka, who was captured by the Mongols.
Yuna is searching for her brother, a blacksmith named Taka who has been captured by the Mongols. She has tracked him to a prison camp near the Kaneda inlet. That's where we'll rescue him. For Yuna's sake, I hope he's survived this long.
Head south of the Kechi Fishing Village and talk to Yuna, which you will find near one of the huts near the river. She will tell you about a nearby prison camp where her brother may be held.
Follow Yuna to the hill from where you can watch the camp and survey it. By exploring all possible points of interest you will discover a gap in the fence.
Approach the camp walls and enter the camp area through a gap in the fence.
Crouch down and come from behind to the guard. When you're close enough you will be able to assassinate him. This will cause a flashback.
For a moment you'll return to your youthful years when you and your uncle were hunting a bear.
Investigate the bear's tracks and follow them until you reach the bear's carcass. When you examine it, you will be ambushed by the assassin. You will manage to overpower him and then your uncle will explain to you one of the basic principles that the samurai follow.
When prompted, activate one of your skills - Focused Hearing. It allows you to locate nearby enemies, even if they are behind walls.
Eliminate further opponents found in the camp and head towards the tent on the hill. Behind the tent you will find a cage and a prisoner in it. Unfortunately, it's not Taka but the Straw Hat ronin. Open the cage to release the prisoner.
Follow Yuna to the next gap in the fence and get out through it. Then go with her and the released prisoner to a safe place near the river. The Straw Hat ronin will tell you that there was a blacksmith in the last prisoner batch but he was moved to Azamo Bay.
Meanwhile, at Kaneda Castle, Khotun Khan insists that Lord Shimura convince his people to surrender. However, Shimura refuses to fulfill his request.
After completing this tale, you will be able to play the tales The Broken Blacksmith, Blood on the Grass.
