Quest Group: Tales of Tsushima
Tale: Masako Tale
Location: Toyotama
Prerequisites: To play this tale, you must first complete the tale A New Horizon.
To start this tale you must first reach Toyotama, so you have to complete "A New Horizon" main tale, and then you should visit Omi Monastery. When you get there, you should witness a conversation between Lady Masako and the monk Junshin.
(6 of 9) The hunt for the conspirators who murdered Lady Masako's family has led her to Kubara. I will meet her there.
Go to Omi Monastery and talk to Lady Masako. She will tell you that another conspirator from her list lives nearby but Junshin does not want to tell her where exactly she can find him.
Talk to Junshin who's standing nearby. He will tell you that he didn't want to tell Masako where he can find Kojiwara because he thinks he is just a humble fisherman and was afraid that Masako might hurt or even kill him. When you convince him that you just want to talk to Kajiwara, he'll tell you that you can find him in a hut on the coast.
A man named Kajiwara recruited the men who killed Masako's family. The monk Junshin is convinced he is innocent and fears for the man's life should Masako find him. I swore we would just talk to him, but Masako has never been much for talking.
Return to Masako and tell her where Kajiwara lives. Leave the monastery with her, mount your horse and follow her to the coast. When you get there, you'll find that the fisherman's hut was taken over by a group of Mongols.
Prepare to fight a large group of strong opponents.
In the hut you will find a new rolls of silk, the corpses of Kajiwara's wife and daughter, a fisherman's knife covered in blood and footprints. Examine them all. You'll start to wonder if it was really the Mongols who killed the Kojiwara's family.
Follow the tracks along the beach and soon, behind the rocks, you will find Kajiwara hiding there.
Kajiwara won't want to reveal to you who hired him, instead he will start saying something that Masako won't like. She will go rage and kill him. From what Kajiwara has told you, you'll be able to deduce that the conspirators are bonded by hate, and that the attack on Adachi Clan was personal.
After completing this tale, you will be able to play the tale The Conspirator.
