Prerequisites: To play this tale, you must first complete the tales The Fool, The Family Man, The Thief.
This tale will be unlocked when you complete "The Fool", "The Family Man" and "The Thief" tales.
Lady Masako's list of conspirators grows thin, but the person who organized the attack on clan Adachi is yet to be found. Masako has gone to Otsuna. Perhaps she has new information.

Masako can be found at Kushi graveyard where she will be threatening a monk and demand that he tell her where Junshin is. You intervene and ask her to let you talk to the monk.
Talk to the monk and he will tell you where you can find Junshin. Then talk to Masako. She will state that she has obtained evidence that Junshin is involved in a plot against her family. When she promises you that when you find him you will first talk to him, you will tell her where you can find the monk and you will set out to find him.
Masako is certain the monk Junshin was part of the conspiracy to kill her family. I'm not convinced, but there's no talking with her. She thinks of nothing but revenge and finding the monk.
Travel with Masako to Red Leaf Temple. On the road near the temple you will come across several Mongols attacking the peasants, which of course you must get rid of.
Continue further until you reach the gate of the temple next to which two Mongols stand. You will decide to kill them quietly so that they do not alert their companions. Sneak into one of them and assassinate him. Masako will shoot his companion.
Enter the temple and kill the Mongols you encounter there. Then free Junshin.
As soon as you get out of the temple Masako will try to attack Junshin. You tell him to run away and you will have to face Masako in a duel.
You have to defeat her, but you will not kill her.
When you defeat her and Masako calms down a little, you will give her back her sword.
A few seconds later you will be attacked by several Mongols, and you'll have to kill them all. Masako will help you.
Once you get rid of the Mongols, speak with Masako. Masako will start thinking reasonably again and then you will be able to look for the monk to talk to him.
Find Junshin's footsteps on the ground near the temple building.
Follow the footprints and you will eventually reach the place where Junshin is. He will tell you about the person who tried to get information from him. What he says will shock Masako very much. This is where this tale comes to an end.
One of the rewards you will receive when you complete this tale will be a new look for the Samurai Clan Armor - Seasons of War Dye.
After completing this tale, you will be able to play the tale The Sister Betrayed.
