Yuna insists she can help recruit the people of Yarikawa to my uncle's cause, even though they've hated Lord Shimura ever since he put down the Yarikawa Rebellion years ago. I may not share Yuna's confidence - but she's resourceful and rarely wrong. I hope this works.

Quest stages of The Walls of Yarikawa
1. Meet Yuna near Yarikawa Stronghold
Yuna and Taka will be waiting in a Survivor Camp near Old Yarikawa. They will tell you that Yarikawa Stronghold is besieged by the Mongols and that in order to gain the trust of its people you should help them get rid of the Mongols. They will also tell you about a hidden passage they used when they were children, that could be used to get to the settlement.
Before we can recruit Yarikawa to my uncle's cause, we have to get inside Yarikawa Stronghold - which is currently under Mongol siege. Once inside, I need to speak with whoever is in charge.
2. Reach your ally / Follow Yuna and Taka to Yarikawa / Figure out how to reach the stronghold
Go with Yuna and Taka to the hill near Yarikawa Stronghold. From there you will be able to observe the walls of the settlement, the Mongol camp next to and the place near the white tree where the hidden passage should be.
3. Don't alert the Mongols to your presence
From now on, until you reach the entrance to the hidden passage, you cannot be detected by the Mongols.
3.1. Lead Yuna and Taka to the river / Lead Yuna and Taka to the hidden entrance
You can go down the path going to the camp and try to sneak through it, but you'd better go south along the cliff top. After a while you will reach a place where you can climb down the rocks. You'll skip the whole camp this way.
You can't go too far south to not go outside the mission area. Watch out for the camp patrol rider. Wait until he rides to the other side of the camp and then assassinate the warrior cutting down the tree.
Then quickly go to the river and hide behind the rocks so that a horse patrol near the river doesn't notice you. Wait for them to ride away and swim across the river to the waterfall.
3.2. Follow Taka through a waterfall / Enter Yarikawa
Taka will go through the gap hidden behind the waterfall, do the same.
Then go through the tunnel and climb up a ladder. You will reach the village where you will be stopped by a guard. When you tell him the purpose of your visit, he will decide to take you to their leader.
4. Follow the guard to the steward / Reach Yarikawa Stronghold's main gate / Follow the guard to the steward
Follow the guard. When you get to the middle of the village, you'll hear that something is going on outside the gate. Everyone will run to see what's happening there, so you have to go there too. When you get close to the gate, you will witness the Mongol commander making an offer to the Yarikawa people. He will want them to open the gates of the stronghold and when they do so, he will spare their lives. He will give them some time to think about his offer.
When the Mongolian commander is gone, follow the guard and he will lead you to the leader - Ujimasa, and you'll be able to make your proposal to him. He will not accept your offer because he believes that Yarikawa will survive without your help.
5. Find Taka at the swordsmith's shop
Go back to the village and talk to Taka who will be waiting for you next to the blacksmith's house. He learned about the best archers from Yarikawa, who left the stronghold to fight the Mongols. You decide to find them and this tale will end.
