Quest stages of The Fate of Tsushima

1. Travel to Lord Shimura's camp

Return to Lord Shimura's Camp. At the main gate, you will meet Lord Oga, who commands the samurai troops sent by the Shogun. After the exchange of courtesies, you will be able to enter the camp.

2. Speak with Yuna

You will find Yuna meditating in one of the buildings. You will talk about the hope that Taka and the people of Yarikawa placed in you and what you are able to do for the people of Tsushima and her.

Speak with Yuna

The battle of Castle Shimura is almost here. The peasants of Yarikawa are ready to fight, my friends have joined the vanguard, and samurai reinforcements have arrived to aid us.

Once I'm ready, I should speak with Lord Oga at our staging camp.

3. (Optional) Speak with your other allies x 4

If you want, you can also talk to your other allies: Lady Masako, Sensei Ishikawa, Norio and Kenji. If you want to talk to them, you must do so before you talk to Lord Oga again. They are all in the camp. Lady Masako can be found near training swordsmen, Ishikawa stands near training archers, Norio meditates with a few other monks and Kenji is overlooking the battering ram.

4. Speak with Lord Oga / Travel with Lord Oga to meet your uncle / Speak with Lord Shimura at the watchtower

Lord Oga will be waiting for you at the north gate. You will mount your horses and ride to the watchtower where your uncle will be waiting for you. Climb up to the top of the watchtower and talk to him. You will tell him about your meeting with Khan and Taka's death. Lord Shimura will promise you that Khan will pay for what he did. Your uncle will also inform you that the Shogun has accepted his idea to adopt you.

The battle for Castle Shimura is here. We ride to defeat the Khan, to reclaim my uncle's castle, and to win back our home from the Mongol invaders.

5. Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces

Kill the first group of enemies attacking you and then when you get a little closer to the castle walls, try to eliminate the hostile archers standing on the battlements as quickly as possible. The barrels with explosives that are also there will help you.

Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces

When you get rid of them, push forward towards the gate killing opponents who stand in your way. When you get close to the gate, a battering ram will be brought in. The gate will be destroyed and you will be able to move on.

Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces

Of course, on the other side you will encounter another group of Mongols. Fight them and again try to eliminate the archers as quickly as possible. When you kill them all, you'll use the battering ram again to smash another gate.

Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces

On the other side, another even bigger group of Mongols will be waiting for you. Watch out for brutes with hand guns and push towards the next gate.

Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces

Beware of the archers standing on the platform above the next gate. You can get rid of them by shooting at them from the bow, or you can use the ladder on the left side and climb to the platform they are standing on.

When you get rid of all enemies in this part of the castle, Lord Shimura will ask you to check what is on the other side of the gate to avoid surprises.

6. Scout ahead of your army

Climb up the ladder, enter the gatehouse and approach the window through which you can see the next part of the castle.

Scout ahead of your army

You'll see a Mongolian commander come up to the gate. Jin will automatically use a blowgun and shoot the two soldiers accompanying him. When the surprised commander turns back to the gate, Jin will jump down and execute him from behind. Lord Shimura, who will witness your deed, will express his disapproval of the way you did it.

Scout ahead of your army

Your conversation about the honor and methods used by the samurai will be interrupted by firing from the hwacha located on the tower on the other side of the courtyard.

7. Defeat the hwacha operators

You must get to the top of the tower and kill the two archers there. Yuna will follow you. On your way to the tower you will have to defeat several opponents and climb straw bales. Just like during "A Message in Fire" mission, try to avoid white circles appearing on the ground as this area will be under fire after a while.

Defeat the hwacha operators

Once you get rid of the operators, you will be able to take control of the hwacha yourself.

8. Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces

Take control of the hwacha and start firing on the enemies. First clean the courtyard in front of you, then the one on the left, and finally shoot at enemies near the path leading to the bridge. Eventually, Yuna will tell you that this is all you can do here, and you will decide to rejoin the others.

9. Rejoin your allies / Drive the enemy across the bridge

Dismount, descend down the tower and rejoin the others. You will move towards the bridge together. There will still be a lot of Mongols on your way and you will have to get rid of them.

Rejoin your allies / Drive the enemy across the bridge

When you finally get rid of all of them and reach the gate leading to the bridge, Lord Shimura will order the soldiers to cross the bridge and attack the keep on the other side and you and Yuna will be told to climb the bridge's gatehouse with him to fire on the enemy from there.

10. Climb the bridge's gatehouse / Fire at the charging horses

Use the ladder to enter the bridge's gatehouse. When you get there, you'll see that something is wrong because the Mongols have withdrawn from the bridge. After a while everything will become clear, the Mongols will send a cart full of explosives to the bridge, which will begin to charge over the bridge in your direction.

It doesn't matter whether or not you start shooting at the charging horses. After a while there will be a huge explosion that will destroy the bridge and kill all the people Lord Shimura sent there.

Climb the bridge's gatehouse / Fire at the charging horses

After all, Lord Shimura will want to repair the bridge and attack the next day. Jin will have another idea that would save many lives, but which his uncle will not like. This is where this tale ends and the next one - "From the Darkness", automatically starts.
