Thwarting Fort Defiance security won't be easy. But the secrets of the Brotherhood await.

I found a note from a dead Brotherhood of Steel scribe saying I have to make it to the top floor of Fort Defiance. But there's some sort of security in the way.
You cannot use the elevator because the access to it is blocked by a force field.
Get to the upper floor on foot and find the Brotherhood Personnel Terminal > Register New Personnel.
The elevator leading to the top floor has top-notch military security. Maybe I can find a clue that will tell me how to beat it.
Find the Squire Evelyn's Journal - Page 16 in a nearby room.
One Brother managed to bypass the Brotherhood of Steel's security by doing something at Camp McClintock.
Go to Camp McClintock.
Camp McClintock is an automated boot camp. The security at Fort Defiance is checking for a military ID, so if I enlist in the US Army, I should be in business.
Complete Back to Basic quest.
I completed Basic Training and received my Soldier's Certificate. To get my military ID card I have to make a trip to the DMV at the Charleston Capitol building.
Go to Charleston Capitol Building and enter Charleston Capitol DMV.
Use DMV Application Terminal > Government ID Application (DMV-AT-21C) > Scan Camp McClintock Soldier's Certificate > Enter Your Name > Army Recruit > Vault 76.
Talk to DMV Bot B2. (Tatget bar label says it's DMV Bot C1 - bug?)
Use Number Printer to print your ticket number.
Use DMV Number Terminal > Boot up Department B.
Wait a bit then talk to DMV Bot B2 again.
In order to get a Government-Isssued ID I have to have proof of residency. I need to grab a piece of post-marked mail in Charleston.
Go outside and find the Junk Mail.
Return to Charleston Capitol DMV and talk to DMV Bot B2 again.
The junk mail's address doesn't match what I filled out on my form, so I have to fill out a supplemental form to get my ID card.
Go to Charleston Capitol Courthouse and find Blank DMV-AT-21C-V Forms in its basement.
Return to Charleston Capitol DMV and talk to DMV Bot B2 again.
Talk to DMV Bot C1.
Use Number Printer to print your ticket number.
Use DMV Number Terminal > Boot up Department C.
Wait a bit then talk to DMV Bot C1 again.
Use DMV Application Terminal > Error Handling > Error 34B/1.
After waiting in another line I learned I need a valid Birth Certificate.
Since I don't have a valid Birth Certificate, I have to get my form stamped with the Governor's Seal.
Go to Charleston Capitol Courthouse and find Governor's Seal in its basement.
Return to Charleston Capitol DMV and talk to DMV Bot C1 again.
I've finally jumped through every hoop. Now I just need to get my photo taken and I'll have a valid Military ID Card.
Finally, I have a Military ID Card. Now I can get to the top floor of Fort Defiance and find out what the Brotherhood of Steel knew about the Scorchbeasts.
Return to Fort Defiance and use Brotherhood Personnel Terminal on the third floor > Register new personnel > Scan military ID card.
You can now use the elevator and go up to the fourth floor.
Find Senior Knight Wilson's Terminal > URGENT: Touchdown Recovery.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Belly of the Beast.
