Quest Group: Isle of Skye (A Fated Encounter)
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Counting Sheep.
This quest will begin after you find the last of the five shards needed to open the door in the Cave of Gold.
After discovering Kassandra was hiding more than she let on, Eivor has decided to continue alone, searching for the ancient artifact deep within a strange and foreign cave.
Return to the Cave of Gold and interact with the pedestal.
After a while, the door to the rest of the cave will open.
Proceed forward through the cave. You will have to jump and climb a bit, walk on rope or swim a section underwater. Eventually you'll reach a big cave where you'll encounter some cursed villagers.
Eliminate all opponents by any means necessary.
When Evoir, thinking that he got rid of all the opponents, looks at the next big ancient door, another opponent appears and throws a javelin at Eivor. From inevitable death Eivor will be saved by the unexpected appearance of Kassandra, who will show off an accurate shot.
Together with Kassandra, eliminate the other opponents that come up.
Wait a while until Kassanda and Eivor finish talking and Kassandra activates the light beams. Your task will be to redirect the beams to the two plates on either side of the door.
Start by moving the farthest post so that the reflected beam hits the post in front of it.
Then it is enough to rotate that second post so that the beam hits the plate on the right side of the door.
Then rotate the two posts on the right side of the room so that the beam hits the plate on the left side of the door.
When both plates are illuminated then the door will open.
Proceed through the door that opened and walk forward until at some point Kassandra stops when she sees a certain small figure. Kassandra's attention will be focused on what she found, as it will remind her of a friend from the past, and you will be able to walk further.
Approach the pedestal on which the artifact is located.
When you get close enough, Eivor will pick up the artifact. He will soon regret having done so and will start calling for help.
Fortunately, Kassandra will come to his aid and together they will overcome the power of the artifact. Eivor will give the artifact to Kassandra and before they part, which will end this quest, he will invite her to a feast to celebrate the successful completion.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest One Last Sleepless Night.
