Quest Group: Isle of Skye (A Fated Encounter)
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Tossing and Turning.
This quest will start after you and Kassandra destroy the cursed symbol and leave the crypt located under the cursed church.
Despite a tumultuous introduction to Kassandra, Eivor has agreed to help her retrieve the ancient artifact that has wreaked havoc on the Isle of Skye. Their search begins in Tobhta.
Head to Tobhta. Kassandra will be waiting for you near the stables located in the northern part of the village. Kassandra will inform you that she has managed to discover something and will want you to go somewhere with her.
Get on your horse and follow Kassandra until you reach Fairy Glen / Isle of Skye.
This is a typical standing stones puzzle.
The place from where you will see the symbol is at the top of the rack, which you must first position properly.
When you place it properly and climb to the top of it, you will easily see the pattern.
Talk to Kassandra. You will look at the symbol and come to the conclusion that it is a kind of map on which a certain point has been marked.
Get on your horse and follow Kassandra until you reach the entrance to the Cave of Gold.
Enter the cave and walk up to Kassandra.
Kassandra will ask you to stand in the middle of the circle that is on the floor. Do this and then the walls that are illusions will disappear.
When the illusions disappear then a few enemies will intrude into the cave, which you will have to get rid of.
When you get rid of the attackers then Kassandra will take a look at the panel and the door that has been exposed and find that you need five shards to open it.
Eivor, who will find it suspicious that the attackers spoke Kassandra's language, will want an explanation from her and she will give it to him. No matter which dialogue option you choose, Eivor and Kassandra will part, which will end this quest and another one will begin.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Counting Sheep.
