Quest Group: Glowecestrescire / A Tale of Wicker-Fire
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest A Love Betrayed.
This quest starts after you complete the quest "A Love Betrayed", which is after you find out from Cynon where you should go to rescue Tewdwr.
After learning the whole truth from Cynon, Eivor must rush to Aelfwood to rescue Tewdwr.
Aelfwood

Head to Aelfwood. You must find the entrance to the cave shown in the pictures below. You will likely come across some bandits nearby.
When you enter the cave then move the rack covering the gap through which you can go further.
Then you will have to jump a bit to get to the other side of the cave filled with poisonous gas.
You will reach a room in which you will encounter several opponents. You can kill them, you can try to sneak past them, or you can just run quickly to the other side because when you jump into the water and jump down they will stop chasing you.
Get in the water, slide down a waterfall....
...and you will eventually reach the cave where Modron wants to sacrifice Tewdwr.
After a short conversation with her, the fight will begin. Modron is very fast. She will shoot at you with a bow, occasionally using poison trap arrows.
She will be very mobile and will often change her position to keep her distance from you. It is best to shoot her with a bow using skills that, for example, slow down time, etc.
If you manage to catch up with her, she will be fighting using a spear. Her attacks will be very fast and she can also set her spear on fire.
When you finally defeat her then you can decide what to do with her. Your decision will affect the ending of the quest "The Burning of the Wicker Man" but nothing more.
No matter which option you choose, Modron's daughter will then appear, either reuniting with her mother or finding her dead. After that you will talk to Tewdwr who has regained consciousness and this quest will be finished.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest The Burning of the Wicker Man.
