Quest Group: Asgard / The Fate of the High One
This is one of the quests you have to complete to get the materials needed to complete the "Forging a Bond" quest.
Ivaldi calls for a cat's footfall to forge the magical cord, Gleipnir.

The map will not mark the place you should go to, but there will be a note with clues in your inventory.
Cat's Foot Note
Over the gate to the Great Norse Hall,
A golden cat sits patiently,
Gazing upon many tall towers,
She'll flee when she is found,
But follow without fear.
Look, leap, and descend,
Once she leads you to the end,
She may ghost to the ground,
Land as well, and swiftly steal her sound.
First, fast travel to the highpoint in the middle of Asgard, and jump into the pond below, then climb up the walls in front of you.
On one of the columns you should notice a figure of a golden cat. Approach it.
It will disappear and respawn further down. Follow it.
You will eventually reach a jumping point from where you can jump down to a haystack below.
Jump down to collect the cat's footfall. This will finish this quest.
