Honor's Hubris Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

1. Meet Faravid in Stenwege

Return to Stenwege Camp. Faravid will inform you that everything is ready and it is time to start the assault, so you can head to the camp set near Picts fortress.

2. Travel to Magnis' staging grounds / Report to Ljufvina

Travel to the camp located near Magnis Fortress. When you reach the camp then talk to Ljufvina.

Unexpectedly, Halfdan will also appear at the camp because King Ricsige told him about the upcoming battle. After a short argument and Ljufvina's intervention, Halfdan decides to take part in the battle.

3. Negotiate with the Pict envoy

When Ljufvina spots the messengers, walk along with Halfdan and the others to negotiate with them.

The negotiations will not take too long as after a while you will realize that King Ricsige has betrayed you and has allied himself with the Picts. The battle will begin.

4. Reach the inner compound

Defeat the enemies in front of the fortress and move forward. To get to the inner part of the fortress you have to do several things besides eliminating enemies. First reach the two ladders hanging on the walls and extend them by shooting at their locks.

The next step will be to breach the gate. To do this you must get to the other side of the wall, you can do this by taking the scaffolding next to it.

Then approach the gate, destroy two locks on the gate reinforcement bar and open the gate.

5. Breach the palisades

Now you need to breach the palisade. Run up to it, grab an oil jar, and throw it at the palisade to destroy it.

6. Shoot Links to lower the Drawbridge

Move to the raised drawbridge. You must lower it. As you have done it before, you must shoot the two links on both sides of it.

7. Secure the inner courtyard

Run into the inner courtyard and help eliminate all the enemies there. Once you have done this, the fortress will be captured.

Halfdan will be very pleased with the capture of the fortress. But it is not yet time to celebrate. More enemy troops will appear and they will attempt to retake the fortress by attacking from the north.

8. Defend Magnis Fortress / Hold off the Pict assault

You have to fend off the attack.

For this you can go down and fight there, or you can stay on the walls and eliminate enemies from there.

You can, for example, use the ballista.

When you have killed enough of them, their champion will come and you will also have to kill him.

9. Kill Ricsige

Once the danger has been averted, you will notice that Ricsige is trying to escape to the north. You don't have to be worried that Ricsige will escape, because he will simply stop after some time. When you get close to him before he stops then you will be able to assassinate him with your hidden blade. Otherwise, you'll have to deal him some hits.

After a while Ricsige will die and Halfdan will inform you that he will be the one to take the throne. This will end this quest.
