Treasure Hoards Maps (Francia) contain tips that will lead you to hidden, unique customisation items. After finding the map you can go to the place shown or described on the map and take the treasure.

Melun Hoard MapThe map is located in a room which entrance is hidden behind a waterfall. To get inside you must destroy the stone wall. If you need a jar of oil then you will find one in the locked room where the nearby ingot is.
Paris Hoard MapThe map is located in a room located at the top of the tower. Destroy the lock and enter the church through the door on the first floor and then climb to the upper level of the tower. Watch out for rats.
Paris Hoard Map (Treasure)It's the Oriflamme Scheme (Back). It's at the bottom of the well.
