Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Enchanting: Start-up Costs.
You will receive this quest when you give the Runewright 5000 crowns in the "Enchanting: Start-up Costs" quests. The runewright will then ask for you to acquire some jade for him.
The Ofieri runewright got down to work, but announced at once that more advanced runes or glyphs would require special materials. Jade, it seems, is a necessary part of advanced runewrighting. Since Geralt was interested in enchanted goods of the better sort, he decided to look around for a hunk of this element.

You'll find a pickaxe in a nearby barn.
The map will mark three places where jade should be located, but only in Bloodrot Pit cave you will find enough. You'll come across a lot of arachnomorphs (34) in the cave.
Go back to the runewright who used the money he received from you to start his workshop.
You will hand him the jade and from now on you will be able to trade with him (he sells runestones, glyphs and diagrams) and enchant your equipment by adding runewords or glyphwords, or add slots. Only items possessing three enhancement slots can be enchanted. Initially you will only be able to use first level enchants. Subsequent levels will be available when you give him more money for advanced tools (10.000 coins / 15.000 coins)
Finding large quantities of jade was not easy, but when the witcher set his mind to it, he could even find a dove in a blizzard. Soon enough the Ofieri runewright had what he desired.
