You can start this quest by reading the "Beast of Honorton" contract posted on the Oreton Notice Board or the Crow's Perch Notice Board in Velen.
The inhabitants of Honorton had a problem - one only a witcher could resolve. A monster they unhelpfully called a "spook" was haunting the woods near their village. Geralt decided to see what kind of beast it really was. And then kill it.

Travel to the unmarked village of Honorton located between Claywich and the Boatmakers' Hut. When you get there, you will only find three allghouls (24,25) that you will have to kill and then the quest will be over and you will get another one - Where the Cat and Wolf Play....
Life in Velen is not easy. Bandits and monsters prowl the woods. Armies trample the fields and raid the granaries. Disease is on everyone's lips - literally. Yet, as the popular saying in those parts went, nothing's so bad that it can't get worse - the truth of which the inhabitants of Honorton learned in the most brutal way possible. Their entire village was murdered, leaving only necrophages to walk the paths between its huts.
