You will receive this quest when you visit the pellar and ask him for information about the baron's wife during the Family Matters quest. The pellar will ask you to bring back his goat and give you a bell to make it easier.
Geralt's search for information about the baron's wife and daughter took him to the local pellar. One glance and he knew the man was highly eccentric - an impression only strengthened when the pellar announced he would not divine what had happened to Anna and Tamara until Geralt found Princess, his runaway goat. Having no other choice, Geralt set off on a wild goat chase.
Go to the area marked on the map and try to locate the goat. You will come across several wolves that you will have to get rid of. With the help of the witcher's senses, you can look for traces of Princess or listen to from which side there is the sound of her bleating.
Use the bell that the pellar gave you and the goat will begin to follow you.
Go with the goat towards the pellar's hut. From time to time Princess will stop to eat the herbs you've come across on the way. In that case, use the bell again to keep her following you.
At some point, the goat will suddenly escape to the side. Follow her and you will reach a nearby cave where a big bear will come out. You'll have to kill that bear.
Note: You can get rid of the bear earlier.
The rest of the way should run smoothly. When you reach the pellar's hut, he will be happy to have his friend back and this quest will be over.
As a knight errant will comb the rugged heart of the wilderness to find the object of his quest, so Geralt searched for Princess the goat in the woods around Blackbough.
In the end, he found the caprine fugitive and, protecting it from manifold dangers along the way, led it back to its delighted owner. As promised, the pellar would now help Geralt in his search for the baron's missing family.
