Cabaret Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Quest

Suggested level: 14

Group: Secondary Quests

Location: Novigrad

You will receive this quest when you rescue Dandelion, which is when you complete the "A Poet Under Pressure" quest.

At last I was free - and never had the nectar of liberty tasted so sweet. No matter how I slurped, I could not imbibe it fast enough. I filled every waking hour, and quite a few sleeping ones, with fevered activity - there was so much to do, and so little time in which to do it! Since the witcher had proven a true and reliable friend time and time again, I asked him for help, and he readily agreed to provide it.

1. Meet Dandelion at the Rosemary and Thyme. / Talk to Dandelion.

Go to the Rosemary and Thyme inn and talk to Dandelion. He'll ask you to help him get the funds to set up the cabaret.

Meet Dandelion at the Rosemary and Thyme. / Talk to Dandelion.

Ever since that fateful eve near twenty years ago when my dear friend Geralt and I visited a no-longer-extant cabaret in the once-beautiful city of Oxenfurt, I have longed with every fiber of my being to become the owner of just such an establishment. When Alonso Wily, more commonly known as Whoreson Senior, left me the Rosemary and Thyme in his will, my dreams finally began to assume a more concrete form. When Priscilla lent her support to the endeavor, the scales tipped decidedly towards action and the ball threatened to start rolling. I needed just a few things more to begin my planned remodeling of the Rosemary and Thyme into a cabaret - and so I turned to Geralt, the fiercest fetcher in the world.

2. Borrow a prop sword from Madame Irina.

Go to the theatre run by Madame Irina and borrow a blunt sword from her.

3. Meet Dandelion near Sophronia's house after dusk. / Fight the Crimson Avenger.

Go to Sophronia's house and wait till dusk. After the sunset Dandelion will show up and explain to you his plan - you're supposed to pretend to be a bandit and assault the girl and he'll save her.

When the girl arrives, you can, but you don't have to, use the dialogue lines that Dandelion has prepared for you. Then you and Dandelion will start fighting each other, you with a blunt sword of course. Whether or not you let him win doesn't matter much except that if Dandelion wins, you will get more XP.

Meet Dandelion near Sophronia's house after dusk. / Fight the Crimson Avenger.

Note: After the fight, don't forget to change the blunt sword to the one you usually use.

4. Meet Dandelion in the morning at the Rosemary and Thyme.

Wait till sunrise and return to the inn. Dandelion is not back yet. You will only meet Priscilla and a group of dwarves, who are builders hired to renovate the inn. You can decide in what style to renovate the place or you can let Priscilla make a choice.

Meet Dandelion in the morning at the Rosemary and Thyme.

Then Priscilla will tell you where the Dandelion probably went. After he got the money for the renovation, he was going to visit Polly, their choreographer.

5. Find Dandelion. / Look for the key using your Witcher Senses.

Go to the house where Polly lives, and you'll see that Dandelion knocks on the door of her house. He'll explain to you that Polly's fiancé won't let her work for him and locked himself in the house with her. In order not to destroy the door you decide to find a spare key that should be hidden somewhere nearby. You'll find the key in a bucket standing nearby.

Find Dandelion. / Look for the key using your Witcher Senses.

6. Open the door to Polly's home. / (Optional) Defeat Hubio.

Use the key to unlock the door and enter the house. You'll find Polly and her fiancé Hubio (15) there. You can convince Hubio to listen to Dandelion's arguments (Let Dandelion explain, or I'll split your skull. > Let Dandelion finish.) or just beat him. Either way, Polly will go to the inn and Dandelion will send you to pick up the placards.

Open the door to Polly's home. / (Optional) Defeat Hubio.

7. Find Rautlec and get the placards from him. / Deal with Rautlec's creditors.

In Rautlec's house you won't find the owner but only two bandits (11) searching his house and trying to get back the money he owes them. No matter what you say, talking to them will end in a fistfight. Whether you win or lose, at the end you will find out from them where you can find Rautlec.

Find Rautlec and get the placards from him. / Deal with Rautlec's creditors.

8. Talk to Rautlec in the Vegelbuds' residence. / (Optional) Win the race.

You'll find Rautlec on the racing track near the Vegelbud Residence. He's in big financial trouble and to get the placards you have to pay his debts (200 crowns) or win a race for him in which he will bet on you. You can also leave without placards.

Talk to Rautlec in the Vegelbuds' residence. / (Optional) Win the race.

If you decide to take part in the race and lose but still want the placards then you will still be able to pay off his debts but this time you will have to pay a little more (275 crowns). If you win the race, you will receive 80 crowns, and mastercrafted saddle (35 Stamina).

9. Return to Dandelion.

Go back to the tavern and tell Dandelion what you managed to do. He won't be angry if you come back without placards. Priscilla will go to her place to prepare for the grand opening and you and Dandelion will sit down at the table to drink and talk. After a while your conversation will be interrupted by the arrival of one of the servants who will inform you that Priscilla has been attacked and ended up in the hospital.

Return to Dandelion.

With the witcher's help I was able to make my castle in the clouds a heaven on earth - I opened my cabaret and called it The Chameleon. Ah, if you'd only seen the pride in Priscilla's eyes when our hard-working dwarven remodelers hung that reptile-adorned signboard above our doors! What a tragic shame later events did not go at all as we had dreamed...

After completing Cabaret you will get or will be able to get Carnal Sins.
