Battle Preparations Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Quest

This quest will start automatically when the "Final Preparations" quest is completed.
Thanks to Triss and Yennefer's hard work, Ciri's team of defenders now had two more outstanding sorceresses in its ranks and the prospect of gaining yet another. With this, our heroes were ready to face the Wild Hunt, but to bring Eredin to their world and cut off his escape route, they also needed an elven artifact known as the Sunstone. The team set off for the Skellige Isles to finish their final tasks before their final battle.

To begin Battle Preparations you must first complete Final Preparations.
Quest stages of Battle Preparations
1. Meet Avallac'h on the ship.
Go to the port of Novigrad where a ship is waiting for you. Before you board, you will witness Yennerer, Margarita and Philippa talking about their future and Fringilla's fate. Everything seems to indicate that she was imprisoned by Emhyr.
Then get on the ship and talk to Avallac'h to go on a trip to Skellige.
When you get to Skellige, you'll discover that Emhyr's fleet is there too, preparing to attack the islands. Then you'll decide that you must free Fringilla who's being held on Emhyr's flagship, and find the sunstone.
2. Pick Fringilla up on the emperor's ship.
Teleporting to Emhyr's flagship is not possible, so you'll have to get to it on your own. Yennefer will give you a letter that you should show Emhyr to remind him what he has promised and what he will get in return. You will receive a new quest - Veni Vidi Vigo.
3. Find the Sunstone.
Avallac'h will tell you that according to the legend, Sunstone is somewhere on the islands. Then Geralt will conclude that he will start his search by talking to Ermion. You'll get a new quest - The Sunstone.
4. Find out if Avallac'h's hiding something.
You will receive this objective when you talk to Yennefer, Ciri and Philippa during "The Sunstone" quest, after you find out about the cave where the sunstone should be located. To get it done you will have to complete the "Child of the Elder Blood" quest.
5. Help Ciri confront her past.
To achieve this goal you will have to complete the "Skjall's Grave" quest.
6. Let Avallac'h know everything's ready.
Return to Avallac'h and tell him everything is ready. You will have the option to head out right away or tell him you will join them on Undvik.
In short order Geralt had found the Sunstone, secured the sorceress Fringilla Vigo's assistance and prepared Ciri to face Eredin once more. The time had come to fight the Wild Hunt.
