Walter Stroud wants to talk to me.
Talk to Walter Stroud, who is sitting in the library, right next to the artifact pedestal. He will tell you that he intends to purchase another artifact and needs your help. Let him know when you are ready to go with him.
Walter has asked me to come with him to Neon, where he intends to purchase an Artifact. I'll need to tell him when I'm ready to head out.
Walter has asked me to come with him to Neon, where he intends to purchase an Artifact. He'll be riding as a passenger in my ship until we get there.
Travel to Volii System > Volii Alpha > Neon.
Get off the ship and talk to Walter who is waiting at the landing pad. You will learn what you need to do next.
Walter needs to head to the Stroud-Eklund offices here on Neon before we can meet with our Artifact seller.
Enter the city and head to the Stroud-Eklund Corporate HQ. Walter will follow you. When you reach the place you will meet Issa Eklund there.
Talk to Issa and Walter and you will find out what your next task will be.
Walter and Issa want me to investigate the seller and case the Astral Lounge. The seller was connected to us by James Newill. The Astral Lounge is in the Trade Tower.
Return to the lobby and then head into the Astral Lounge. It's in the same building.
Talk to the bartender. When you ask him about security he will recommend a VIP zone for which you have to pay a fee of 4000 credits. You can try to convince him to lower the price to 1000 credits. Pay the room rental fee.
Head upstairs to the VIP lounge area. Check the door controls (Novice Lock) and reprogram it > Remote Door Control.
Note: If you need more digipicks, you can buy them at some stores in the main city area, such as the "Trade Authority" or "Newill's Goods".
Head to the Newill's Goods store located in the main part of town and talk to James Newill. In order to get information from him you must persuade him to do so or pay him 2500 credits.
Head to the marked location and hack to the door to get inside (Novice Lock).
Interact with the computer and read his correspondence - Personal Correspondence 03.
I should talk to Walter about what I've found, and let him know we're ready to meet the seller.
Return to Stroud-Eklund Corporate HQ and tell Walter that everything is ready.
I need to head over to the Astral Lounge and find the person selling the Artifact.
Head to the Astral Lounge and talk to Walter again. He will tell you who to look for and give you the code phrase.
The seller will have a large security briefcase and will respond to the code phrase "Ramsay and Travers."
Find a man named Musgrove, who has a large case and is standing on the right side of the bar. Talk to him and use the code phrase "Ramsay and Travers".
I found the seller. Time to meet with him and Walter.
Return to Walter and inform him that a seller has been found. He will tell you how the negotiations should proceed.
Head to the VIP cabin, Walter and Musgrove will already be there and negotiations will begin. Your choices don't matter much because eventually the deal will happen anyway.
We have the Artifact. Time to leave.
Head out of the room. You'll be stopped by a man from Slayton Aerospace, who seems to be the original owner of the artifact. You can try to persuade him, call security who will remove him, or attack him.
We were ambushed by an agent from Slayton Aerospace, the original owner of the Artifact. We should get out of Neon quickly.
Issa will be waiting for you at the exit, and she will inform you that Slayton has impounded your ship.
Slayton has impounded my ship at Neon's spaceport. I'll need to confront him and get him to free my ship before we can leave.
Slayton Aerospace's office is located in the same building. Take the elevator to get there. On the table you will find the "Cyber Runner's Cipher 01" magazine. Pick it up.
Then talk to the receptionist and try to persuade her to give you an appointment with Slayton. If you succeed then you will receive a code for the elevator. Otherwise you have to kill her and the guards and take the code from her corpse.
Unfortunately, after a while you get stuck in the elevator. Luckily, Issa will come to your rescue. Talk to Water to confirm that you know what to do.
You need to make your way through this floor to the exit on the other side. If you follow the instructions given by Issa, you will get through unnoticed. Start with entering the ventilation ducts.
Eventually you will reach the exit to the exterior of the building.
Climbing up the metal stairs, you will have to get to the entrance located on the roof of the building. Along the way you will have to kill several guards.
Soon after you enter back into the building you should reach the room where Slayton is. You can choose a violent solution but it means a lot of fighting. Your best bet is to make a deal with him.
He wants you to decide the fate of Musgrove.
Musgrove is in the next room. Go there, speak with him, and decide his fate. Slayton will accept any of your decisions.
Our ordeal with Slayton is over and we're finally free to leave Neon and get the Artifact back to the Lodge.
Return to the ship and sit at the pilot's seat. You will then talk to Walter and when you are done talking you will receive rewards from him: 10000 Credits, a rare rifle - Fiscal Quarter, and some ammo.
Take off into space. In orbit you will be ntercepted by an unknown ship. This mission will end, you will receive 400 XP and the next main mission - "Starborn" - will begin.
We were ambushed by a group calling themselves the Starborn. We'll need to speak to the other members of Constellation about this.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the mission Starborn.
