Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission The Crazy Horse.
To start this side mission you must enter the "Free Ride" mode and read a Letter from a Friend you can find in the meeting room at Salieri's Bar to unlock the phone booth.
Dear friend,
My most dangerous adversary has returned! There's a disused service station in Chinatown, you know the place I'm sure. Find a phone booth nearby and I'll tell you what I know.

Note: Before you go on this mission, equip yourself with some fast vehicle. For example, it could be a motorcycle.
Go to the phone booth described in the note - Moderate Velocity. The phone will be ringing and you will be able to interact with it.
My nemesis has rigged a bus to explode if it drops below a certain speed and he's challenged me to prevent it. Keep the bus going faster than 30 miles per hour while I have the bomb defused.
After a while you should see a bus heading east.
Quickly get in your vehicle and start chasing it.
When you get close enough to the bus, you will be able to board it and take control of it.
You now have to drive around town for a certain amount of time trying not to slow down below 30mph. Don't go out of town as the hills and long uphill roads can slow down the bus too much and turn out to be deadly, so you better drive around town.
Luckily, when your speed drops above the required one, you will have some time to speed up.
Try to avoid collisions with other vehicles, take corners smoothly, gain more speed before uphills, etc., and you should not have major problems.
When you finish the task you will receive a Mechanic costume.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the mission Curse of the Baskervilles.
