Prerequisites: To play this tale, you must first complete the tale The Proud Do Not Endure.
This tale will be unlocked when you finish "The Proud Do Not Endure" tale. Yuriko will ask you to visit one more place with her when you have time.

Talk to Yuriko. You will notice that she is not feeling well and suggest that you take her to the healers. She will convince you to visit one "special" place with her first.
I returned to find Yuriko. I know she's not well, though she assures me otherwise. She wants to show me something, but once we're done I'll take her to Akashima where she can see a healer.
You will mount your horses and go to the hill where there is the Maple Shade Hot Spring. When you get there and start talking, Yuriko will get a little dizzy, so you will decide to bring her something to eat to make her stronger.
Go down the hill into the forest a little to the north and find a herd of wild boars. Hunt down one of them and collect the meat.
When you return to the hot spring, you will not find Yuriko or her horse there. Find the tracks of her horse...
...and then follow them up the hill until you reach Yuriko's horse.
Look for more traces in the mud next to her horse and follow them to the bamboo grove.
Soon you should find Yuriko lying on the ground near the pond. Approach her and talk to her. Yuriko's condition is getting worse and you will want to go home but she will insist that you pay a visit to her mother's grave.
Ride with Yuriko until you reach the small cemetery, located near the place where the path leading to theTurtle Rock Shrine begins.
Yuriko will sit on the edge of the cliff, you just sit next to her and listen to her story. She will think it is not you, but your father sitting next to her.
After a while Yuriko will will close her eyes and ask you to tell her what you see in front of you. Survey the area, and tell her what you can see - Yarikawa, Castle Kaneda and the temple in Kushi.
Your old friend's eyes will remain closed forever. You will bury her and this tale will come to an end.
At the end of this story you will receive a new hat - Bowman's Straw Hat.
