Quest Group: Tales of Tsushima
Tale: Yuna Tale
Location: Toyotama
Prerequisites: To play this tale, you must first complete the tale The Tale of Yuna.
This tale will be unlocked when you complete "The Tale of Yuna" tale.
(2 of 4) The Mongol warlord Altan is terrorizing Otsuna prefecture. Finding him is next to impossible, but Yuna's friend Ichi suggested we target Altan's allies to draw him out of hiding. Some of these allies are the Japanese slavers known as the Mamushi Brothers.
To start this talk, talk to Yuna, who will be waiting for you at the intersection near the Mamushi Farmstead. She'll tell you that she and Taka were once imprisoned here, but they managed to escape.
The Mongol warlord Altan has gone into hiding somewhere in Otsuna prefecture. We must draw him out. He's using the Mamushi brothers, local slavers, to subdue the region.
Follow Yuna until you reach the front gate. Yuna will ask you to take care of Mamushi brothers yourself, because she doesn't want to go there due to too many negative memories associated with this place. You'll decide that you will kill them quietly when they're not expecting it.
During the rest of this tale, you cannot be detected by any of the guards, nor can you kill anyone but the brothers themselves.
The brothers are in three different places on the farm. You must reach them and kill them. Two of them are in the buildings and the third one is in the field. Remember to use Focused Hearing frequently to determine where the guards patrolling the farm are currently.
Note: Don't forget to take the trophy after killing each brother.
The first of the brothers, Kichizo, is located in the largest building on the farm. To get to it, climb the rocks in front of you...
...and jump over the fence. Then climb to the roof of the building right behind the fence.
When the guards are not around, jump on the roof of a large building and go inside through a small window.
Kichizo will be right below you, jump down and assassinate him.
Take his head as a trophy. Then it is best to step back outside the camp, the same way you came here.
The other brother, Kichizo, is also in the building. To get to it, use the hook to climb the rocks and then hide in the tall grass.
Wait until the guards aren't looking in your direction and enter the house through a small window.
Assassinate Taichi when there is no guard at the entrance to the house. Take his head! Then you can leave the house through the front door and sneak into the field where Manzo is located, or you can retreat out of the camp along more or less the same way that you got here.
If you go far left, you will reach a place where you can use a hook and climb the rocks far enough to go around the whole farm.
Watching out for the westernmost guard, go around the whole farm.
At the right moment, jump over the fence and hide in the tall grass.
When the guards won't look in your direction, assassinate Manzo and take his head. The "Killer's Instinct" ability is very useful at this point.
Killer's Instinct
Notice a flashing aura around Assassination targets when their allies will be alerted by their death.
When you've got all three heads, return to the front gate where Yuna will be waiting for you. Near the gate you will leave a message for Altan, a pike with the heads of the three brothers stuck on it.
Then you should hide in the nearby tall grass and Yuna will make some Mongols come to see what's going on. When they see your message, they'll run away in panic. First message delivered. Yuna will also tell you about the slave trader who supplies slaves to the brothers. You will decide that you should pay him a visit too.
After completing this tale, you will be able to play the tale The Black Wolf.
