Quest Group: Act 2 - Retake Castle Shimura
Location: Toyotama
Prerequisites: To play this tale, you must first complete the tales A Message in Fire, The Ghost of Yarikawa, Ghosts From the Past.
This tale will be unlocked when you complete three other main tales: "A Message in Fire", "The Ghost of Yarikawa", and the "Ghosts From the Past".
Preparations are complete for our battle to reclaim Castle Shimura and defeat Khotun Khan. I should speak with my uncle at his staging camp and see if he's ready to launch the attack.
Go to Lord Shimura's Camp and talk to your uncle. He will inform you of a new problem that has arisen. Ryuzo's men are preparing to attack from behind as you march to retake Castle Shimura. According to the information your uncle managed to intercept, Ryuzo should now be in Fort Koyasan. Before you go there, you decide to ask Yuna to help you for the last time.
Ryuzo and his band of Straw Hat traitors are poised to attack our flank if we march to reclaim Castle Shimura. Luckily, l now know his forces are amassing at Fort Koyasan.
I'm going to visit my old friend and end this.
Yuna and Taka are in the camp too. Unfortunately, Yuna, who waited so long to be able to get to the mainland, won't want to go with you.
Head to the Fort Koyasan, get to the hill from where you can survey the fort and and start watching the fort. You will notice that in addition to Straw Hats, there are also a lot of Mongols in the fort.
Your observation will be interrupted by the arrival of Taka, who wants to help you at all costs. He'll come up with the idea that he'll lure the Mongols out of the fort and make it easier for you to get inside.
Taka will get on his horse and shout some insulting words to the Mongols, which will make them angry and they will start chasing him. Once they leave the fort, you will be able to get inside through the main gate.
You must now reach the gate leading to the inner courtyard. The Mongols who remain in the fort and who stand in your way can be avoided and / or eliminated in any way that suits you.
When you open the gate to the inner courtyard, you will meet Ryuzo on the other side. After a short conversation with him, it'll turn out to be an ambush and you'll be captured.
When you regain consciousness you will see that apart from you, Taka was also captured. When you try to free yourself, Khotun Khan himself will come to you.
He'll try to convince you to persuade your people to surrender. He will decide to use Taka for his purpose and test his loyalty to you. Unfortunately this will end in the death of your friend. Khan will then leave you alone that you can think about what just happened.
When you're alone, free yourself from the ties and then get your gear back, which you'll find in a box standing nearby.
Then head your steps towards the gate and kill any Straw Hats that stand in your way.
When you reach the gate, you will meet Yuna there who saw Khotun Khan and Ryuzo leaving the fort and came here to look for her brother. You'll let her know that something terrible has happened.
Yuna will run to where her brother's corpse lies. Follow her.
After a while, you will hear that more enemies are coming. Together you will have to kill about a dozen or so more and more powerful enemies coming in waves. They will be both Straw Hats and the Mongols.
When you get rid of all of them, you will take Taka's body and bury it. Yuna will decide to stay on the island and help you in your fight, and then this tale will be over.
After completing this tale, you will be able to play the tale The Fate of Tsushima.
