(6 of 9) Sensei lshikawa's former student, Tomoe, has plans to erect Mongol archery training camps across Toyotama. One is in Kushi. There's a small settlement just over the Yarikawa border where I can begin the hunt.

To begin The Ghost and the Demon Sensei you must first complete Dreams of Conquest.
Quest stages of The Ghost and the Demon Sensei
1. Join Ishikawa's hunt for Tomoe in Kushi / Find someone who may have seen Ishikawa / Speak with the frightened man
Go to the Kawamata Village and approach one of the men there. He will be frightened when he sees you as he heard that you and Sensei Ishikawa are robbing people.
Tomoe and her Mongol archers have framed Sensei Ishikawa and I for killing innocent travelers in Kushi. We have to find her training camp and put an end to this.
2. Look for Ishikawa north of Kawamata Village / Defeat the Mongols attacking Ishikawa
Take the road north to the place marked on the map. There you will find six Mongolian archers attacking Ishikawa who took cover on top of the watchtower. Get rid of the attackers.
3. Climb up the watchtower / Speak with Ishikawa
Climb up the watchtower. The villager who was saved by Ishikawa will confirm that Tomoe is attacking caravans and blaming you.
4. Go to the ambush site with Ishikawa / Investigate the remains of the convoy
Mount your horse and ride with Ishikawa to the place where the convoy was attacked. Examine the corpses of those who did not survive, a warning pinned to the corpse of one of the victims and traces of blood on the road.
5. Go to the ambush site with Ishikawa / Free the woman
Follow Ishikawa. At some point you will hear screams coming from a nearby camp. When you get to this camp, you will find only one tied up woman there. When you release her, you will realize that it is an ambush. You will be fired upon by several archers located on the surrounding cliffs.
6. Survive the ambush by Tomoe's archers
You will be attacked from two sides. Quickly take cover behind the straw bales near the tent and first get rid of three archers on the cliff in front of you.
Then move on behind tanother straw bales and from there eliminate the archers on another cliff. You can, of course, kill them in any other way, for example by climbing the rocks and using your sword.
7. Speak with Ishikawa
To end this tale, talk to Ishikawa. You will be a little angry at Ishikawa when he tells you that he asked the woman who was shot in the camp to help him find Tomoe's camp.
