The easiest way to start this quest will be to find a famous statue created by Master Izo located in Old Toyotama Hills.
There's a famous statue here somewhere. I haven't seen it in years, but my spirit would be refreshed by the sight of it.
Rumors from townspeople can help mark the position of the statue on the map.
It has been too long since I've visited Master Izo, and now I hear his statues are being destroyed by the Mongols. I won't let them destroy even one more.

Quest stages of Flesh and Stone
1. Investigate location
Approach the statue. The man who tries to fix it will turn out to be Master Izo's son. He will tell you that the Mongols who damaged the statue took over their house and killed his father. He will ask you for help in recovering the tools that will allow him to repair his father's work.
My heart ached when Master Izo's son told me the Mongols killed his father. I promised we would honor Master Izo's work by restoring the statue, but I could see it was vengeance for his father's death he truly desired. I wish for the same.
2. Locate the sculptor's home / Deafeat the Mongols
Follow the road leading up the hill and it will lead you to the Sculptor's Home. There you will come across several Mongols which you will have to get rid of, of course.
3. Search for the sculptor's tools / Rescue the sculptor
There will be a surprise waiting for you in the workshop, because you will meet master Izo, alive and healthy there.
The Mongols forced him to make a sculpture of Khan for them and he even liked this idea and will want to finish the work. However, you will force him to abandon creating a sculpture for the Mongols and to go with you to his son.
4. Lead sculptor to the broken statue / Defeat the Mongols
Lead Master Izo to the destroyed statue. When you get there, you will see that the mongols have appeared there.
Get rid of them all.
5. Wait for the sculptor / Speak with the sculptor
Unfortunately, it will turn out that Master Izo's son did not survive the meeting with the Mongols. To end this tale, talk to the sculptor.
