Bamboo Strikes are optional mini-games found throughout the world of Ghost of Tsushima that challenge your speed and memory. Each strike features a small wooden stand with bamboo stalks, and interacting with it triggers a rhythm-based sequence where you must press a specific series of controller buttons in rapid succession. Successfully slicing through all the bamboo in one clean motion provides a permanent upgrade to Jin's Resolve.
There are 16 Bamboo Strikes in the base game (7 in Izuhara, 6 in Toyotama, and 3 in Kamiagata) and an additional 4 on Iki Island, for a total of 20. Finding and completing all 16 of them on Tsushima (the base game) is a requirement for the "Body, Mind, and Spirit" Trophy.
