1. Investigate the Abyss

Just take a few steps toward the character you see in front of you. It will turn out to be Old Octavius - who will manage to say only a few words suggesting what you should do before he disappears.

2. Find the one responsible for the rift

Your task is to reach the central platform. Before you begin the platforming section activate the Abyss Nexus. This way, if you fall, you will be able to return here quickly.

If you have enough Stamina then you can climb the pillars and fly between them. However - the fastest way is to use a mechanic that the game doesn't officially suggest - the triple jump using Force Palm. Simply jump - then use Force Palm three times in a row to launch yourself high into the air. Then activate your wings and fly to the first pillar.

Repeat these steps to reach the main platform.

On the upper platform, look for a circular mechanism - stand on it and perform Aerial Force Palm (jump + Force Palm).

The mechanism will activate, which will trigger a cutscene. A mysterious man will appear and knock you off from the Abyss to Pywel.

After the cutscene ends - this quest will conclude and the next one will begin.
