The Lost Cauldron

This is one of two quests you will receive after talking to Hyrrokin, which takes place at the end of the quest "Mistress of the Iron Wood".

1. Find the cauldron's trail / Investigate the ambush site

The cauldron was last seen near the Jormungandr tree. Go to the location marked on the map and examine the three clues you find there: a destroyed wagon, a detached wheel and a broken tree.

2. Search for the cauldron

The thieves have left a trail of destruction, so follow the broken trees, and when you reach a giant root then turn left.

Soon you should reach a place called Skrymir's Mitten.

3. Find and take the cauldron

Go inside and keep walking forward until you reach the gate, which is locked.

Go back and you will see a passage that you didn't notice before because it was hidden behind an illusion.

Kill the Jotnar warrior you come across there and move the rack blocking the passage to the next cave.

Go forward until you reach the room you could see through the locked gate and get rid of the enemies you find there.

Climb to the upper level and go to the side room. On the way there, take the key.

Then kill the enemies in the side room and go through the small passage near the floor.

The cauldron is huge but when you go around to the other side it will turn out to be just an illusion and it will get smaller.

When you take the cauldron this quest will end.
