Quest Group: Ostara Festival
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Ostara Festival.
This is one of the quests in Assassin's Creed Valhalla that you can complete during the event called Ostara Festival. You will receive it from Alwin after arriving to your English settlement - Ravensthorpe.
Eggs have been placed in baskets and hidden throughout Ravensthorpe and surrounding area. Some are much trickier to find than others.
Talk to Alwin, who you will find near his hut and he will let you know what the game is about. You will have to find 15 baskets of eggs. He will give you three pages with clues on how to find some of these eggs.
The hunt is on and the eggs are hidden.
For most of them you will need your vision.
Six of them will get a clue.
The other nine will be up to you.
When all fifteen eggs you have found,
Return them to Alwin, safe and sound.
I - “A symbol of conquerors, to greatness they aspired. It stands now in ruin, their rule long expired.”
II - "Old, new, and some long since rotten. Here they lie gone, not forgotten.”
III - "Music, merriment and mead abound. But keep your wits, there are eggs to be found."
IV - "With a thunderous roar I carve the land. Go over me and you'll find yourself with a fall unplanned.."
V - "Lay down your arms, your battles done. Drink and feast t'ill up comes the sun. A word to the wise, there's more than one."
VI - "Our door to travel and trade, it is vital to launch any raid."
All baskets are located on the festival grounds or in the settlement area.
1. On the roof of Alwin's house.
2. On the roof of a wooden structure overgrown with vines which is located next to the arena where fights take place.
3. On the ground next to Norvid's store.
4. You will find the basket behind the throne.
5. The basket is located by the shooting targets.
6. At the dock where your longboat is moored. - "Our door to travel and trade, it is vital to launch any raid."
7. On the ground behind the blacksmith's house.
8. On the ground next to Reda's shop.
9. On the floor in the main hall of the longhouse.
10. On the beams supporting the roof of the longhouse.
11. Outside, on a beam of the longhouse that is part of its east wall.
12. On top of a Roman column located at the back of the longhouse. - “A symbol of conquerors, to greatness they aspired. It stands now in ruin, their rule long expired.”
13. Near the trunk of a big tree that grows between the longhouse and Valka's hut.
14. At the cemetery (The cemetery is located to the west of the longhouse). - "Old, new, and some long since rotten. Here they lie gone, not forgotten.”
15 . At the base of the waterfall near Valka's hut. - "With a thunderous roar I carve the land. Go over me and you'll find yourself with a fall unplanned.."
When you find all 15 baskets, return to Alwin. The quest will end and "Alwin the Egg Collector" will be an available opponent in the "Viking Brawl" quest. You will also receive 140 Festival Tokens.
