Objectives of Guardian of the Gates
1. Kill Cerberos
Cerberos' attacks are mainly fire attacks, you also have to be careful not to stand near his heads. When his health bar drops to half, the second phase of the battle will begin. It means more fireballs, firebreath, etc.
When you kill Cerberos, you will receive the Prize of Cerberos (Quest Item) and the Staff of the Dead (Legendary Staff).
2. Enter the underworld
Enter the underworld. Hades himself will be waiting for you on the other side of the huge gate.

The killing of Cerberos caused problems in the underworld. To gain Hades' acceptance, you'll have to perform some quests for him.
Hades will also mention the wager between him and his brother Poseidon. Your choices in the quests The Warrior, the Eagle Bearer, Fallen from Grace and The Snake Sheds His Skin will determine which brother will be the winner.
3. Seal the Tartaros Rift
Tartaros Rifts
Prisoners of Tartaros have escaped through rifts in the Underworld. Interact with Tartaros Rifts to occupy the same plane of existence as these shaded prisoners and fight them in their true form.

- Interact with the Rift to make the shaded prisoners vulnerable
- Defeat the prisoners to seal the Rift
Approach the rift and interact with it. This will make the enemies vulnerable and you will be able to kill them. Be careful as your health points will be reduced when you do this.
Note: In some of the locations you visit when exploring the underworld, you will find two rifts close to each other. The nearby enemies are assigned to a specific rift so activating one of the rifts will only make those enemies who are assigned to it sensitive to damage.
After each rift is closed, you will receive an additional ability point.
