Objectives of The Keeper, a Killer
1. Talk to Hermes
You have to decide whether you help Hermes kill people or refuse to do it.
Note: Whether you help Hermes or not will have an impact on what will happen in The Rebellion's Uprising quest.
2. Defeat Hermes
This objective will be available if you don't agree to help Hermes kill people.
At the end of the duel, Hekate will appear and stop the fight, so no one will die.
3. Kill every witness / Kill the Captains
This objective will be available if you agreed to help Hermes kill people. If, while doing The Keeper and the Flame quest, you were seen stealing a recipe and told Hermes about then you will have to kill all witnesses - several soldiers. If you managed to steal the recipe quietly or if you lied to Hermes about it then you will have to kill two captains.
Hermes can help you to do the job or you can do it alone.
4. Quest Completed
Rewards: Legendary XP, Legendary Drachmae, and, if you helped Hermes kill people, Caduceus Blade (Legendary Sword)
Note: If you didn't help Hermes, you will receive the sword a little later, after completing The Rebellion's Uprising quest.
