In Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Naval Contracts are optional side missions focused on ship combat. They give Edward and the Jackdaw specific objectives, usually involving enemy ships. These missions can involve sinking a particular target, boarding a ship, protecting another vessel, or completing a task under certain conditions.
Naval Contracts become available after completing "This Old Cove" main quest. You can then start them by speaking to Milo van der Graaff at the docks in Great Inagua. Completing Naval Contracts rewards you with Reales, while completing bonus objectives can earn you additional money. Finishing all 15 contracts also rewards you with the Black Skull Sails and the Handsome Devils Crew Attire.
Because the later contracts feature stronger ships, upgrading the Jackdaw’s weapons, hull, and other equipment will make them much easier to complete.
